Calypso Beach

Good hotel with great service and kindful staff, good bar and attractions.

We stayed at Calypso beach for a week with our children 5 and 3 years old and we loved it! We’ve been to quite a few all inclusive hotels and this was one of the best when it came to quality and access for food. There was lots of choices and generous opening times so you never had to go hungry. The Maitre D was so friendly and welcoming and playful with the kids at every meal and service was always prompt and great at the restaurant. The only issue we had was that there was a photographer outside the restaurant a couple of nights who was incredibly rude when we didn’t want to take a picture because the children were hungry and tired. It left us a bit shook how rude he was for the whole dinner and ruined our last dinner. Check in was smooth and Elizabeth was so lovely and great with the children. We stayed at a deluxe room which was really nice with comfortable beds and sufficient air conditioning. Cleaning was fine but missed topping up drinks in the fridge that’s included in deluxe rooms most days which wasn’t a huge deal as everything is all inclusive anyway but it would’ve been nice to have the drinks topped up in the room also but we didn’t bother enough to let reception know. Pools and beach was lovely. Such a great kids pool for young children, perfect depth and really big for a kids pool and the octopus with slides in the middle was a real hit, big plus! Never any issues getting sun chairs around pool or at the beach. The whole animation team was amazing! Always great energy and trying to include everyone without being pushy. Extra big thank you to Deborah and Leonie who made our shy boys so comfortable. Our kids highlight ended up being going to kids club and mini disco thanks to them, not many people can get them up to dance on stage. They went above and beyond and would always stop and talk to the boys and play with them for a bit even when they ”didn’t have to” if they walked past us or saw us by the pool, it made our boys feel so special. Give them a big raise ;) Also fun for the kids with different themes and activities. The bubble party and pool party was a big hit! So overall a great hotel, would definitely go back!

Good service , delicious food , comfortable rooms ,good location , marvelous beach but so crowded ): Elisabeth (in reception) and Fedra (restaurant) were so successful worker.Thanks to them , we loved this hotel.
