Villa Blu

Our stay at Villa Blu was beyond our expectations! We had the whole villa to ourselves, given we were the only booking for 1 out of the 5 rooms at the property for the weekend, which gave us a lucky chance at enjoying this property to the fullest in privacy. We highly recommend this property not only because of its beauty and its surroundings, but because of the top-notch service it offers to its guests. From preparing us excellent food to giving us some on point recommendations on things to do around Kalametiya and looking into every one of our needs, Kamal, the manager, and his wonderful team made sure our stay was pleasant, comfortable and that we felt right at home. The villa has direct access to an unspoilt and beautiful beach which is mainly only accessed by the few guests staying at the neighbouring villas. Would not recommend swimming when the seas are rough. The crew were so nice enough to prepare us a private bonfire by the beach on our request during our last night at the villa, which we truly enjoyed under a clear starry sky and whilst listening to the sound of waves crashing on the shore. Thank You Villa Blu for the wonderful weekend filled with sweet memories!

We had a very nice stay at Villa Blu, we got an upgrade. Our room was excellent, the food was excellent and the poeple are very friendly. The Coffee is very good. Specially made,every cup. The fruit, breakfast. Everything. The swimming pool is nice when the ocean is to rough to swim. We were there at the and of the season,so then a pool is very nice after a rough walk along the sea. Our last dinner was very special,in the garden,by candellight and music as well. We feel gratefull!

😊 The place is beautiful and very clean. The staff is very friendly. I am especially thankful to Lakmal. Because he treated us like family. Thank you too Kamal. Breakfast has an incredible variety of cravings. But there is a small problem. Kamal prepared a seafood platter for our dinner. Kamal said there was fresh fish, but the fish we got was very old and had no taste.

Lost in paradise (; Eine der schönsten Unterkünfte auf unserer Sri Lanka Rundreise. Kamal und sein Team sind stets bemüht, den Urlaub der Gäste unvergesslich zu gestalten. Das Frühstück wird à la carte serviert und bietet reichlich Auswahl. Man hat die Möglichkeit, Mittag- und Abendessen im Hotel einzunehmen, was sehr lecker, preislich allerdings etwas höher anzusiedeln ist. Die Lage ist fantastisch. Man kann stundenlang am Strand entlang spazieren. TukTuk‘s können jederzeit organisiert werden, um die nächstgelegenen Ortschaften/ Highlights zu erkunden. Besonders hervorzuheben ist auch der stets gepflegte Pool. Zu erwähnen ist auch der kostenlos zur Verfügung gestellte Kaffee/ Tee am Nachmittag inkl. Kekse. Wir können die Unterkunft bedenkenlos weiterempfehlen und freuen uns hoffentlich schon bald wieder hierher zurückzukommen ☀️

Fabulous. If you’re looking for tranquility, high quality accommodation, attentive staff, varied and tasty food, all packaged up with a beachfront location- this is the place for you. If you’re lucky enough to be in the room above the dining area you’ll be rewarded with a large balcony and enormous en-suite. Would come again for sure

Our favourite stay in Sri Lanka! Beautiful villa a stones throw from the beach with easy access via a gate. The staff were incredibly polite, friendly and accommodating, nothing was too much trouble. Home cooked food every night which was delicious, especially the traditional Sri Lankan curry, portions were huge! Our room was beautiful, we had a four poster bed which was the comfiest we’ve had in Sri Lanka, the bathroom was enormous with a huge bath and big walk in shower, we had a balcony with views over the pool and ocean. The one and only downside is there are a lot of mosquitoes especially in the evening but the staff do their best to keep them at bay putting the fans on at dinner which really helped, just don’t forget your insect repellent. The bed had a mosquito net and we had no problems in the room with insects. Highly recommend for a relaxing stay in Tangalle.

We had a wonderful ,relaxing stay in this place ,clean rooms with wonderful views of the ocean , breakfast is very good and beach is very clean , but sea is quite rough, but very good place to relax, we highly recommend this hotel, thank you very much

My wife and I stayed here for 5 nights as a way to relax after a very active few weeks around Sri Lanka. We both had an awesome time, the villa is on the beach, with a great pool and room, and delicious food. Most importantly the entire team were really helpful and friendly throughout our time there. Thanks to Kamal and Lakmal especially, you guys are such a great team, as are the rest of the staff. It was nice to get to know you all. Hopefully we can return again at some point. Absolutely remarkable. After 3 amazing days at this tranquil escape feeling quite blu at the thought of leaving! The awe inspiring Guest Villa with it’s upscale luxury, unique pool starting from inside the villa coupled with the idyllic beachfront location on a deserted coastline is exquisite. What adds a special personal touch are the staff. Kamal and his team (Mithun, Lasantha and Lakmal) the service was incredible. The food was delectable- in particular the seafood. This will always be a memorable first stay and look forward to returning soon! Definite recommendation if you are looking for a relaxing few days and also plan a day trip to the National Parks for a safari trip.
