Nemrut Kommagene Hotel

I stayed one night. I ve arrived very early in the moring and i did a very early check in without any problem. They are very helpful and the rooms and breakfast are very good. Has a very good location, close to the city center and bus station. The manager ,called Ifra, can help you in all you need. The hotel offer good Tours to Mount Nemrut. I guess is the best oprtion in Kahta for to stay.

Very basic hotel. It is walking distance from restaurants. This town doesn't get much tourist traffic. One understands it's difficult for hotels to make money but this hotel should try to repair the joints between walls and doors. My bathroom was functional but the handheld was inoperative and the minute the shower was turned on, the hose disconnected from the main tube. The hair dryer is hard wired behind the outlet leaving the cord dangling. Fire code infraction in other countries. Considering there was a beautiful fresh fruit market across the street breakfast was lacking fruit except for some apples. By 9am there were no more hard boiled eggs or bread left though they did bring more bread when asked. Lots of different cheese. Wafer thin walls. You can hear guests talking on their phones. Reception looks beautiful but the rest...not so great. Wifi works well. Rooms are clean. Sheets are clean. Drinking Water is in the rooms which is very nice. When checking out I spoke to Mr Irfan and he said he would have fixed the shower hose problem if he had known. He said someone would fix the issue. That's good news.

I stayed 2 nights at this hotel as a base for visiting Mount Nemrut. Mr Irfan who is the owner organised everything starting from the airport pick up to the sunset and sunrise trips to Mount Nemrut, and since I had an extra day he organised a trip to Sanliurfa. The hotel is a wooden building, looks like a mountain refuge, very basic but very clean and very nice. Beds are very comfortable. Rooms have A/C and a mini bar. Wifi is available, signals are stronger at some parts and weaker at others. Breakfast buffet serves the essential. Mr. Irfan and his staff are so kind and generous and were offering very tasty tea all the time. Rates were very reasonable. I shall go back again and I highly recommend the place.
