Efteling Loonsche Land Hotel

The hotel rooms were very spacious with two bedrooms and a lunge area. Grounds were beautiful and it was a short 10 minute walk to the theme park. The rides were great and staff were friendly. Only issue we had was because it was the beginning of the season and the park closed quite early you were limited for dinner options but we had our car and found lots of great restaurants near by, we were there 3 nights which was more than enough time to do the whole park and each ride several times

The beds are small for the 4 person room. The shuttle to the park works good. The breakfast was poor compared with other hotels for less price. The restaurant is very expensive. Its far from anywhere, so the options are hotel, park or drive. All customer service, check in, out, restaurant booking and locker are done with the app, so its a bit dehumanized. All waiters ask for booking, so its very strict

Such a lovely place. We really enjoyed the whole experience - arrived early Friday and used the app to great effect to navigate queues around the rides and managed to get on most stuff with minimal wait. A fun packed day including some of the shows. Our stay at Loonscheland hotel was comfy and friendly. The staff are great and the rooms very quirky. Saturday was much much busier so harder to navigate the park but we expected and planned for that and just took it all in. The setting and style of the park, filled with flowers and trees makes it such a relaxing place to wander around. My surprise was the food quality and choice around the park - really impressed by it all and at a fair price compared to what I’ve become used to in UK where you feel robbed at most attractions due to higher prices/low grade options. The Moroccan restaurant was absolutely delicious.

we booked our stay from Sunday 24th December christmas package. 2 nights. We were already in Holland by the time we checked in. Accommodation APP did not work so could not get access to the accommodation and Efteling. The APP only worked in reception but as soon as you step outside does not work. Hard copies were printed off for Efteling. A key card was given to us for accommodation. The shelf to put your items in the bathroom was leaning at an unsafe angle. My daughter put her bath bag on it and it came off. The curtains separating my husband I from our grown children in the bedroom came off its hinges (it could be put back but it was very high. Fortunately my husband 6"2 was able to tip toe and put it back. Christmas breakfast No sausage, but egg to your liking which was served in flower pots. The bacon was added on the top. I did not like this arrangement clearly to save money. Not a lot of breakfast choice when staying with a family of 6 Christmas dinner Had emailed a few times asking what this was as there was no menu. Was underwhelmed. It was a 3 course, cold veil we had for a starter. We had fish for our main course and during our second visit the fish was cold not cooked. My husband politely asked them to take it back. I am not fussy but my children wanted to have plain ice cream rather than the coconut one which looked like a bauble. It looked nice. This was replaced with a single tiny scoop of ice cream for my children and husband. I looked at the waiter as if to say really? and he glared back. I was asking about CARO since September when I booked Efteling to be told fully booked, this was throughout September-December. When I arrived it was not showing. Dishonesty as it was not fully booked. The show was not on to begin with. Top class hotel very comfortable rooms, lovely walk through the woods to get there. Quiet and the farmers breakfast is outstanding - it feels like luxury and the staff are really helpful it is very clean and relaxing. Every time we stay here we are blown away and the 5 person bedroom very comfortable and great beds

Efteling is a magical adventure for kids and adults. It is a sensory wonderland. Smells, sights and thrilling experiences. The landscape, the nature, the fairies, the stories...it is just so beautiful and creative. It moves you as an adult. So much to do and see. The snacks are so tasty, so different and very reasonably priced. The staff are genuinely happy and friendly. The accomodation is so very quaint and well thought out. Overall we found this park so authentic and real. I felt it made Disney feel tacky and over priced . The shuttle is v regular. The trinkets are very reasonable. The only fault I found was the access card for children with additional needs. Children with autism and adhd can't queue for very long periods for rides. This card might give you access to a different entry/exit point but it didn't cut the queue time like other parks. This made me feel Efteling doesn't quite get additional needs. But overall it is a fairytale , has to be the best kept secret in Europe....we loved it...✨️✨️✨️✨️✨️
