Built in the 1970s, the A-Frame sits in the center of Pinecrest Retreat a vintage trailer park established in 1961. Pinecrest Retreat is located on 80 acres and is home to 140 trailers, a hiking trail, and a junior Olympic size pool opened seasonally (Memorial Day weekend till the end of September). Owners of these trailers cannot live on site but have access to their trailers as a weekend getaway spot. Pinecrest Retreat is about four miles from town and four miles from Lake Cuyamaca.The A-Frame features a 360-square foot cathedral ceilinged open space with a sitting and dining area. A kitchen with refrigerator/freezer, gas stove & oven, sink, coffee maker, plates & utensils and most of the basics. The A-Frame has a bedroom downstairs with a queen size bed (with twin size trundle in the closet), a full bath, and an open loft upstairs with a king size bed and balcony. We supply fresh linens, blankets, and bath towels. The A-Frame also comes with a stereo and WIFI but no television is provided. There is a large private backyard with a gathering area, a propane grill and Cowboy Calderon fire pit. The linens are washed and dried in the hottest setting. Our cleaning crew takes steps to protect themselves, such as wearing gloves and other personal protection equipment.**PETS. Dogs are allowed with prior approval. Dogs are not allowed on furniture or bedding. You agree not to leave your dog (s) unattended inside (crate ok) or outside the property. Any damages or extra cleaning will be withheld from the damage deposit. **FIREPLACES. There is wood burning fireplace in the living room and a wood stove in the kitchen. We do not provide firewood. Only seasoned wood is allowed to burn, please do not use duraflame firelog or any other similar starters. Julian is home to coyotes, mountain lions, bobcats, deer, rabbits and different snakes. If you encounter any animals, please be respectful of their habitat and admire them from distance. **SAFETY. We have two exterior security cameras on the property for your safety and ours. There are no recording devices inside the property or anywhere on outdoor amenity spaces. Please do not attempt to disable or redirect the cameras as it may result in full forfeiture of the security deposit. ** GUESTS. Only the number of guests listed on the reservation/booking are allowed on the property. Any additional visitors can only enter the property with the owners prior approval.
