Hako Hotel Mount Austin

My first time at Hako. The lobby very cozy and ambience was great. Once I reached my room, I feel so disappointed. The room is very dusty, the cup for drinking is full of dust, it seem like nobody clean up the room before letting customer to check in. The water pressure for bathing is terribly low and weak. Sigh!! There is no cup for brushing your teeth, you have to use the same drinking cup provided. One room key per room, cannot provided extra room key, that is very inconvenient for customer. Location wise very good, very near to all the Cafe & restaurant, walking distance.

Booked for one night stay here. Room is small and basic, generally clean but there were stains on the floor next to the bed. Bathroom had some mould. The bed was comfortable but I didn’t sleep well as I could hear noises outside the bedroom eg people walking or closing the door. Staff was friendly and plus point is the free breakfast (bread, eggs, cup noodles, hot drinks). Location is also good with many food options and massage around. Generally ok for short stay.

It was super easy to check in. Was a short stay with my partner so we were just looking for a place to stay for the night and rest, so we didn't opt for the amenities they had. But they have a mini cafe in front of the reception as well as a beauty place for ladies which i thought was really cute. Will definitely go back again!

Good for value hotel at a great location. Plenty of cafes and food places nearby and most open till late at night. One thing to note that some might miss out is that they require a 50RM deposit during check in so have some cash ready on hand.
