Cleanliness was good but my major complaint is that they did not tell us that the air is not working so when we got into our room, it was 80° and all we had was a small window to prop open. Went down to the front desk to see about moving rooms and we weren’t able to do they have us a box fan to put in front of the window for circulation. The next day we saw so many other patrons have box fans as well so this is an entire building issue. We luckily had a colder day the next day and kept our window open to keep the room cool but I was very angry about not being informed of the air not working or the front desk people not offering to take some money off of our stay.

Staff are friendly. No cleanliness issues. Smells clean, but not offensively so. Fitness room was standard but nice and clean. Breakfast was fine as well. Had hot food and not just cereal and toast. Shower had good water pressure. Indoor pool looked nice, but never visited it.
It is an older building but maintained from what I could tell. The tile in the bathroom was cold but clean. My only complaint is that adjusting the thermostat didn't seem to make a difference as the room was very cold. I just shut it off so it wouldn't blow cold air into the room as I was barely in the room except sleeping and getting ready for a workshop.
I plan to stay here in the future if I'm ever in the area.

We had a very clean, quiet, comfortable stay at Hotel Lotus. Breakfast was tasty and hot. It is very convenient, right off the interstate.

We loved the breakfast buffet, the indoor pool and hot tub. The staff were very friendly and the place was very clean.
Almost any place you want to go in KC is only a 10-15 minute drive away.
Ikea is only half a mile away!

The weather outside was around 50’s when i was there, one morning it was 30 deg. I turned on the heater, but the room was getting colder. Check the thermostat, the room temp. Was actually getting lower. Called front desk, they said, as the weather getting warmer, they turn off the heater. The heater will actually blowing cold air. So, they brought me small space heater. After one night, the outlet got blown, so the heater, TV, microwave, table lamp was out. They sent someone to “fix” it temporary by switching it to other outlets. The next day, those outlet was also blown. Luckily, it was my time to check out anyway. That’s the unpleasant thing happening.

Everything was pretty good except the heat was not working, we were very cold the first night, and only slightly less the next. The first morning there, housekeeping was knocking on the door and trying to get in even though we had a "do not disturb " sign up. Breakfast was pretty decent, plenty to choose from and good bear claws.

Pretty mediocre hotel for the price. Wi-Fi was unusable, teeny tiny bathroom, room furnishings and carpet in need of update or good cleaning. Probably would not stay here again.

Only 2 things stuck out. The carpet needs replaced everywhere, it is badly stained. Also, they had no heat. Our room would never get above 68 during the day and down to 65 at night. Not terrible but, 70 would have been preferable. Other than that. Great place for the price. Staff was great.

Staff was wonderul, food was good, clean rooms, nice pool and hot tub, but a/c dudnt work, we moved rooms, no a/c, moved again. It stayed 78-77 degrees all night long. Also DANGEROUS floor level windows, no screen, a toddler could fall out with very little effort. And we were on 3rd floor, with a toddler!
