Booked at this beautiful hotel online for a weekend in December after visiting it as a day visitor some years back. The booking process was smooth and checking in as well was seamless. I was assisted by a Gentleman named Fufu when I arrived at the hotel. I was taken to my room - Upper suite 303 by a friendly and warm gentleman named Ndumiso via a golf cart and he also orientated me around the room. By far, the most stunning room I have ever booked myself into - beautiful design and layout with scenic 180 degree views of the mountaineous area around the hotel. The room design is very modern and stylish. Light naturally comes into the room from the glass windows that surround the room. When it goes dark, there's ample lighting in the room as well. The room also has a massive bathroom - that comes with a tub and shower and twin basins, appropriately disjointed from the toilet. Towels and wet clothing can be dried up once hung up. The room had pretty much everything I needed - extra blanket, heater, iron and iron board, umbrella, smart TV with access to Netflix and YouTube and a complimentary bar fridge, replenished on the house, daily. There was a couch, sitting/dining area, chilling area by the balcony, large desk and office chair, coffee station with an expression machine. There was everything I needed in the room as a standard feature. Plugs were also ample and they came on-board with twin plugs ports. Also saw plug point even at the toilet. Moving around the hotel is made a breeze by the use of golf carts which are prompt and are delightful - Ndumiso and Tshepang made the experience extra memorable for me. There's also a Spa on-site - Sinzinani Spa, which ranks, on my books, as among the Best Spa experiences in town. Do give them a shot. I also got to do an Eco- drive before the Spa treatment and that was also a wonderful experience. You get to tour around the hotel on an Over-lander while getting acquainted with the Flora and fauna of the place. There are some lovely animals on site and a wealth of information to be attained. We were hosted by a gentleman named Callan and he did an outstanding job. Only went for breakfast at the Kraal restaurant and was impressed by the good service, variety of options and quality of the items on offer. There is a pool on site and an E-bar, that opens until late. I could not find any fault in the hotel at all and that impressed me significantly. I happened to leave my car keys in the room at check out and the hotel staff on duty worked like a well-oiled machine, communicating between the reception and the golf cart driver to promptly get me the key from my room. It's like the staff is equipped and ready to tackle any eventuality that may take place and that left a pleasant lasting impression on me as I departed. This hotel is a gem in so many ways and I would highly recommend it to anyone who's in search of a peaceful, memorable and spectacular getaway in the South of Johannesburg with amazing
