Really cool nook for a staycation or for some little time out you might need. The staff is really friend, night time from the balcony pretty cool too. Eating and drinking places nearby are also eccentric and pleasant. Clean and comfortable

Awesome great loved it. Will do it again. People there are amazing. Tranquil and peaceful stay. Would suggest it to anyone in the hood. Just a pity there is no restaurant on the premises. I would suggest looking at a pool

there were just so many things wrong . . aircon broken , no towels , no water during loadshedding , no pillow covers , lamp not working , numerous lights in the room not working , indifferent staff . toilet seat broken , water leaking into the bathroom from somewhere .

First room we were given linen dirty we were moved to the second one which was better. Second day they made the bed but didn't clean the floors, didn't empty the bin, after we had complained they moved us to another room. Their service is poor more especially the two girls that work day shift, we reported that the room was not cleaned they didn't send someone to clean, I asked for an iron I waited more than an hour I had called several times they said someone is coming. I have been to places but this was horrible service they rendered. Their linen looks dirty its condition is not appetizing at all. I wouldn't recommend anyone to use this place. One thing which is more annoying is that they wouldn't even say sorry those girls who work days shift, the night shift girl is professional and can apologize if you are reporting something to her.

Everything about the hotel is just the best. I had thee best experience of my life with my family, the bed and pillows were soft and amazing. The hotel service was top notch and the overall experience wants me to come back.

The worst hotel (sic) experience I’ve ever had in decades. Gives the word hotel a bad name. Atrocious service. Chef not available so no meals served. Limited amenities. Internet issues. I can go on and on…

Pillows smells terrible Shower handle is broken The service was disgusting,there were no towels and toilet paper There was only coffee in a tea station no teabags As there were no towels and toilet paper we requested for them at 2,no one bothered to help till we went to ask at reception at 6 and we only got them at 9

I stay very nice there bathroom and toilet was clean reception person she's a cooi ladyand security guard are very come. May be you can bring back the place to sell food inside since you have drinks goooooood

La Orchards Hotel's ranking, in my opinion, is sadly entirely false; it is unquestionably not a 4-star establishment. On the internet, the premium room we reserved was advertised as having garden views, more workspace, and complimentary WiFi. We moved twice during our brief two-night stay—once because it appears we were given the wrong room and once because the room was unlivable due to water damage and black mold on the bathroom ceiling. The towels in the restroom were damaged with an unknown purple stain, and the trash can was also broken. The room we were eventually provided did not have a functioning lock; in the midst of Johannesburg, we were instructed to simply use the flimsy chain. This was despite the fact that we needed to leave valuables in the room on Monday night in order to attend a scheduled conference. Despite the online photographs, there was no breakfast buffet. Instead, breakfast was delivered to our room and included fried Vienna sausage, a hard-boiled egg, canned mushrooms, baked beans, and two slices of white bread without butter or any additional toppings. We were informed that there was no salt or pepper available when we asked. There were no options for fresh milk at the coffee station; just coffee creamer and Ricoffy were provided. Although the staff was friendly they were not very helpful.
