This is best dinner today and i am coming at Kalinga restaurant with my family and i ordered paneer tikka handi Murg kalinga special paneer and naan it is best test of ever please come Kalinga for best test and better experience and best service by kuldeep

I travelled with my extended family during December end. I booked 2 rooms but due to some issue only one was reserved. I found this on just a day prior to checkin and due to heavy rush of year end there was no possibility of getting additional room at the last moment. Next sequence of events that happen encouraged me to write this review here. Hotel staff apologized for their miss over call multiple times, even during checkin they all apologized multiple times and there were so humble that we thought of staying with the hotel even after the glitch. They not only offered us the biggest room they have but arranged for couple of extra mattresses to fit us all in one room. On top of this they offered us great hospitality, reduced rates and discounts on food. I was not expecting all of this at all as most hotel staff will just say there is nothing much we can do and now you live with what you have or find another place. But staff here was so humble and courteous that we had a great stay for 2 nights here. Food was great and kids enjoyed every bit of being here. Proximity of this hotel to the railway station is a great advantage you can literally walk out of station and enter the hotel in 5 minutes. Breakfast can be improved a bit by giving little more options but overall I will say it's totally worth the money with great food, location advantage, humble staff and overall great experience.

We had to little bit of online search regarding the hotel. we were looking for hotel near Railway station and budget friendly. I really liked the ambiance of Kalinga Hotel. The check in process was smooth and prompt. The boy took our luggage and escorted us to the room. Room was neat and clean. we had our dinner in hotel itself. The food was very tasty and the service by Mr. Bhawani was excellent

We had booked a super deluxe room from what we saw in the pictures.but what we got was a room with two single beds which the staff happily joined it but it was inconvenient for my kid (for that matter anyone) to sleep in between two single beds. The lamp in the room was broken. Room was clean with all amenities including a refrigerator but the size of the room was very small. The worst part of the hotel was that the view was disastrous…a single storied building with a junkyard on its terrace. The food at the resturant was very good,only that you had to specially request them to make it less spicy. Adjoining the hotel was a small joint called Kalinga Express which was a part of the hotel but unfortunately they were not allowed to deliver food to the hotel inhabitants. The outlet served yummy fast food but all vegetarian.
