Empark Grand Hotel

I visited Jinghong aka Xishuangbanna n March 2025 for a weekend vacation. I'm an American female solo traveler with very basic Mandarin skills and it was not a problem to have great service at this hotel. Jade works at the hotel and was incredibly kind and helped me with everything. Her delightful service made my whole experience go from very good to excellent--she is a valuable asset for all English speaking guests. The room was clean, spacious and had a nice view at a reasonable price point. I could walk to Manting Park and take a quick Didi to other tourist attractions. Empark's prime location next to a large golf course gives the hotel a serene feeling, yet you're still close to all the action and can see the beautiful river and neon buildings from the glass elevator. The hotel food is decent, and there are some nice local touches like having a tea room in the lobby as well as a big night market within walking distance (everything at about half the price of Gaozhuang). Warning--no pool as of the date I visited although the website says they have one. Overall, very good location and quality to price ration, with Jada's outstanding service elevating

Overly expensive for what it actually is. It's more like glorified apartment blocks. The rooms are small and a bit dark without balconies. Our overlooked run down and gutted buildings in the complex. There is no breakfast and the dinning looked average and expensive. It seem to rely on bus tours. Poor soles if they are paying top dollar for these types of hotels. The pool was closed due to Covid and no compensation was made. It's location is however good as its working distance the the water splashing plaza where Covid tests are available. It's also next to the river and a park. The imperial part is also within walking distance. The restaurants adjacent are very very average and not really worth visiting. The hotpot at the end of the street was very disappointing and very over priced. They seem to ensnare one off tourists who don't want to walk too far.

酒店在瀾滄江邊上，步行即可到曼聽公園，酒店附近有江邊夜市，長龍夜市吃的逛的都有，停車也很方便，房間寬敞明亮，床品乾淨衞生。我們需要洗衣液，衣架打完電話客房阿姨很及時就送來了，特別有禮貌，還跟我們説她是負責這個樓層打掃的服務員，在店期間還有什麼需求跟她講就可以。
