I booked this room thinking I was booking a hotel, but it's more like an Airbnb. Unfortunately, the address provided on Trip.com was incorrect, which left me a bit lost. After reaching out for help, I was told to add them on WeChat and check in at a different building, where a lady kindly escorted me to my room.
The room looked similar to the photos, but I was surprised to find there was no TV or sofa, which felt a bit misleading. Additionally, the swimming pool was closed during my stay, which was disappointing given the lovely weather. I was informed I could use a pool in the next building, but I had to pay for that myself. It would have been helpful to know the pool was closed in advance.
On a positive note, the location is great! It's close to the night market, with plenty of Chinese restaurants and shops nearby. However, it can be quite lively at night—there was a lot of noise in the corridor even at 3 AM, which made it hard to sleep.
I asked for recommendations and was given some, but I ended up confused at the tourist bus depot, so I didn’t get to use those facilities.
Overall, I was a bit disappointed with my experience. Better communication would have made a big difference, especially for someone like me who doesn’t speak Chinese.
