Hotel Plage d'or

An amazing hotel for a family at Jijel. We rented the Villa but also previously tried the apartment and the hotel rooms. It’s very clean, spacious and has all the necessary amenities. The hotel owner and his staff are very friendly and highly accommodating. They provided everything we asked for and can accommodate any requests including additional bedding and mattresses if needed. The hotel is very well located, there is a path to the beach that takes 2 minutes to get to a beautiful beach ideal for families and little kids. 5 mins on the other side of the hotel are shops, supermarkets, very nice restaurants and ice cream places. We hardly had to move our car from the parking and little kids managed to walk to the beach and back and restaurants few times a day. The hotel owner very generously offered us a free breakfast, which was the highlight of the holiday especially after a lovely morning swim. The breakfast is served at the hotel terrace with amazing views across the coast. Overall, this hotel has been an amazing experience, the views are just engrained in my head. Very highly recommended.
