The Roomy Lodge, Murree

It is one of the worst hotels ever that you’ll visit, they show you different but will provide you with totally different tacky room with dirt on the bed and table and you will regret your stay, I went there with my wife and we could not sleep all night because of the mattress and it was worst.

DONT STAY HERE. Roomy lodges used to be good when it first opened but now their quality is not the same and it has become sh!t. I stayed with my family for two days and the room they gave us was soooo smelly. We asked to change rooms and the new room they put us in was also extremely smelly. My head ached bcuz of the smell and I couldn’t sleep. Horrible experience. Never again.

Good room size and cleanliness. Parking available for free. Nice warm room. Good breakfast. Highly recommended and I will definitely stay again in any Roomy chain hotels. Full marks to the management as its evident that they understand hospitality unlike 98% of other hotels in Pakistan. There is a big gap in hospitality industry in Pakistan waiting for a good chain like Roomy to fill it in. You either have expensive chains like PC or some below average hotel where they dont even want to clean the inside of a WC properly. Apparently rooms "look" clean but when you look closely then you notice that maids or cleaners have actually hidden rubbish out of your sight inside the room somewhere and did not bother to clean less obvious places or corners at all. I noticed that its every hotel I have been on my recent tour of Pakistan Northern areas. Roomy hotel in Murree was a pleasure to stay in but sadly they are not yet present in Northern areas. So you either pay $240 a night for PC or Rs 4000 for an uncleaned room in any other hotel.
