El Oasis Hotel y Restaurante

Really clean, well organised hotel. Friendly and polite staff, excellent breakfast with many choices that were freshly cooked, great location in Boquete (especially for the Tuesday market). Large comfortable room with fridge/freezer.

El Oasis was that indeed, an oasis in the town of Boquete. Now that I’m paying for a my own room, I’ve been pleasantly surprised with the size, decor, extras such as fridge, tv, microwave, cutlery and dinnerware, safe, large bathroom and even view from a balcony. The bed was exceptionally comfortable and plenty of layers of bedding to suit your sleeping temperature. Breakfast is optional and you need to order the night before, ideally a group of people rather than just one. The balcony areas are spacious with chairs to sit on and enjoy the view over the river into town. There is also a lounge area that includes a large fridge, which we used for refreshments and medication that need to be kept cold. Located a short distance from the main part of town, readily accessible to ATM, supermarket, shops and attractions. Very clean room excellent service and wonderful breakfast . The grounds were very picturesque and well maintained with numerous humming birds making this beautiful garden their feeding ground..j.....

Property has a restaurant onsite but i did not try it. Overall ok accommodations, would stay again if I was in the area. Very walkable.

This hotel makes you feel welcoming The staff make this hotel enjoyable welcoming and wanting to come back The best staff we have ever encountered. Will definitely return. Thanks to all of the staff and hotel owner. Great location for walking through town and beyond.

I think what needs to be made clear as this is a bed-and-breakfast. It’s not a full service hotel. There’s no coffee maker, ice, telephone, iron or ironing board. And no one to interact with regarding Boquete tours or restaurants. You’re on your own. This is hard for a first visit to Boquete. So I think that’s the most important thing to understand. It’s a great location easy walk to everything, close to everything and it’s clean. the gardens and grounds around are beautiful and the price is right.

We stayed the month of August to escape the Houston heat. How wonderful to be greeted by Anayansi, Nela, and the staff who made us feel like we were home again. Jim and I feel Oasis is our home away from home since it became our get-away summer retreat for over 12 years. We were asked why we keep returning? Just a few reasons... The people, service, beautiful gardens, clean, well maintained apartment with full kitchen, location, open windows for fresh beautiful breezes and bird songs, rainy quiet afternoons, plenty of hot water, washer and dryer in service room, affordable, resturant downstairs...now I have to ask myself: why did I return to Houston so soon!? Booked same apartment for next May. My thoughts will return many times to the magical times spent at El Oasis and Boquete. Thanks to everyone there...

Came from another hotel about 2 km from town and called first to see if we could leave our bags. Got there at 10:30 or 11 and were actually allowed to occupy our room (though we really weren't ready to, it was nice our bags were secured there). We were in #4 and the only negative of hotel is location above a raucous river sports bar below. The 'base' sound, late in the afternoon went on for hours! Fortunately, i had earplugs. The breakfast the next morning was delightful and complete, the server attentive. There's a back part of the hotel we didn't know was there til we LOOKED for breakfast...nice patios to sit out on. We sat out on the verandah overlooking the river and though it was misty-rainy, it was a delighful extension of the room. My husband was thrilled to find so many English speaking television stations. I guess a second 'negative' was that the safe was not working. Fortunately we did not put anything IN it before finding this out. Would DEFINITELY stay here again as the price was also w/i the 'going' rate for bed/breakfasts throughout Panama.

My husband and I stayed here from Tues 2/8 - Fri 2/11. It's such a convenient location. It's on the same side of the Caldera River as the Tuesday Markets, and just a short walk to Boquete town center. The hotel offers laundry service, for $6.50 we washed the equivalent of a 13 gal garbage bag of shorts, shirts, panties and socks. Took only a day. Breakfast was included and excellent, huevos rancheros con jamon, coffee, and hojaldres or toast. The staff knew some English and we knew some Spanish so it worked. Breakfast officially began at 8 am, though you could stop in for coffee earlier. On our last day, the bus to Bocas del Toro was picking us up at 8 so the staff made sure we had coffee and breakfast sandwiches ready to go before our 3.5 hr trip. It was very nice of them. The affiliated restaurant, Mesa Azul was fantastic, I recommend stopping in and making a reservation, though we didn't the first night and were still accommodated. Melba at the front desk was very helpful and Alexendra and all of the staff at both restaurants were friendly and attentive. This is a great place for couples, groups, or families, and I will come here again when I visit Boquete next year!
