Club Wyndham Bay Voyage Inn

This was the perfect location for a nice romantic getaway. The resort was clean, the staff was friendly, and the location was great with quick access over to Newport. The restaurant had the best clam chowder and all the restaurants that we ate at all week long.

Overall a very nice experience, lovely facility and exceptional staff. Isabel went out of her way to make sure we were satisfied.

Jamestown is beautiful island to stay while visiting RI. I'm originally from RI and come up to New England every year. The Bay Voyage was comfortable and the staff was great. The restaurant, JB's on the Water, has seasonal and exceptional menu choices. We ate there 3 times and every item was delicious.

We booked two rooms in this hotel/ time share 8 months ago because of a wedding in Newport. I’m giving it 5 stars despite a few very minor hiccups because it was such a great value (compared to much more costly Newport hotels.) These are the great things about it: 1)Very friendly staff - excellent greeting every time we entered the lobby. 2)We tried to check in early but our rooms weren’t ready until closer to 4 pm but there is a great waiting room with cold lemonade and games that made the wait very comfortable. 3)Free parking was a great perk and there was always an available parking place 4) Rooms were spacious with full kitchenette- which was perfect as we needed a fridge for baby’s milk 5) beds were comfortable with ample pillows 6) the attached bar and restaurant was a big perk 7) free washer/dryer in the gym was great for washing baby clothes 8) great location in Jamestown - super convenient to both Newport and Narragansett- and on a cute little spot with water views from some of the rooms 9) room was very clean , shower was decent, ample ice in gym with ice bags Hiccups - sticky hair dryer in one room needed replacement, some of the furniture and furnishings were decidedly dated and a bit shabby

We made a short move from Club Wyndham Long Warf in Newport across the Claiborne Pell Bridge to Wyndham Bay Voyage Inn in Jamestown. The major reason for the move was availability but it also opened up a new area to easy access. Frankly, this condo wasn't quite as nice - smaller with only a partial kitchen. On the other hand, it had a great restaurant (JB's on the Water) on site with great views, good food and reasonable (for the area) prices.

Well, I didn't even get to stay at the resort, so can't tell you what it's like. I booked a 1 bedroom suite for 2 nights through Extra Holidays and confirmed the reservation just last week, only to get a call 10 minutes ago from Jim saying there was a problem, and they have to relocate me. They offered 2 options, both just 5 miles away. But it's 10 miles away from the wedding we're going to, and neither option offers a 1 bedroom suite. Oh, and did I mention we are supposed to check in tomorrow! I AM FURIOUS!! I called the resort itself and spoke with Isabel, who explained they don't manage the reservations there (I think they're only done through 3-party platforms), and of course, they have no rooms available. Do yourself a favor, don't book a room at Bay Voyage or you risk not having a place to stay.
