Amani Boutique Hotel - Small Luxury Hotels of the World

We had an amazing time at Amani in Zanzibar during our honeymoon. The food was excellent, and the staff was always incredibly helpful and friendly. A special thank you to Robert, the F&B manager, who was particularly attentive and made sure everything was perfect for us. This is by far the best hotel we've ever stayed at, and we will definitely return for more days of rest and tranquility.

We loved our 5 nights at this hotel! The hotel itself, the food, the beach, the pool were all very nice but the service and kindness of the staff were excellent! Robert and the rest of the Amani team provided exceptional customer service. We loved that the hotel is only 14 rooms with no children. We paid for the full board and were not disappointed! The food was great! We had a direct ocean view room and would recommend this to others booking; the view is fantastic! If you are going to Paje beach this is the best place to stay! Thanks again Robert for your hospitality!!

+ very nice, small hotel with only few rooms + kitchen makes great food, service tries to make your dreams come true + clean and tidy place and rooms + very nice to have a small ‚get together‘ incl. free drinks once a week +/- WLAN could be more stable across entire hotel +/- for a hotel branded with SLH I would have expected a little more variation for the dinner menue - there is always something different, however side dishes remain the same basically for the entire week +/- same for service in a SLH - except for few rocket stars in services, i.e., service master at dining hall - I would expect a more capable service crew, i.e., waited for 3 days to get a reply whether or not it is possible to rent a car via the hotel, often food orders were incorrectly served, etc.

We spent our honeymoon in Amani and it was an incredibly pleasant experience. everything was perfect, modern room with all the comforts, cleaning twice a day. We will never forget the courtesy, the availability and the immense kindness of all the staff, lovely people who for twelve days took care of us and made us feel at home.

Fantastic little hotel (~15 rooms) about 20 mins walk down the beach from Paje. Wonderful intimate service from a great team with superb food each evening as part of their half board package It is quite isolated so we tended to walk down the beach for lunch or sundowners (towards Paje or Jambiani) and then spent evenings at the hotel. If you are looking for bustling nightlife this is not the place. If you are looking for secluded high quality tranquility away from the crowds then it very much is !!! Staff were lovely and friendly but also very professional and efficient and looked after us throughout our stay. Local Rock restaurant worth a lunch visit when you are staying here - hotel will arrange transport but I suggest making your own table reservation in advance. We stayed separately in Stonetown. If you don’t then you may want to arrange excursions to see more of the island. The Amani is a very narrow slice of the paradise which is Zanzibar

We spent 12 days at this stunning and amazing Amani Boutique Hotel. It's small with 14 rooms and that's what makes it very special. It has absolutely charm and if you‘re looking for a quiet place with an extraordinary service and best quality, book Amani Hotel. We felt at home from the very first moment. The hotel is located south of Paje beach and is the perfect oasis to relax and simply enjoy. Wonderful spacious and clean rooms with a large shower and fresh water every day. The whole Amani Staff Family is absolutely unique. Very attentive and so very helpful. Also thanks to Robert, Pendo, Josephine, Alfred, Alex and the whole Amani Team. What a awesome service in every respect, absolutely delicious food, a large selection, prepared with love and the service as well. We were also very happy about the kite center "Bkite" 50m next to the hotel and their cooperation with Amani and the top service. The pool is great, the massage at the Spa is wonderful and the private beach with very comfortable loungers just perfect. Thank you very much to ALL of you for this unforgettable and incredibly relaxing holiday. We will definitely book the Amani Hotel again and we are already looking forward to it.

Amani is a wonderful hotel that was perfect for our honeymoon! The staff are all really friendly and so helpful, the food was exceptional, and every little detail had been thought about from the well maintained garden to the pristine pool. Everything is tastefully decorated, sparkling clean, and the hotel felt safe with vigilant security. We booked two massages each whilst we were there and regretted not getting a third; the masseuse was incredible! We felt so well taken care of by the warm and thoughtful staff, including a romantic dinner complete with petals, and fruit and cold towels were brought to us at the sun loungers. The team thought of everything and the hotel is small enough that you feel a part of ‘the family’ in no time; we hope to return some day. Cannot recommend Amani highly enough!

We had a fantastic stay. The room was great and the staff was very friendly and professional. The part of the beach where the sun chairs are is private and you can relax without being bothered. The food was plenty and good. As the hotel is not that big you make friends quickly. Unlike many other hotels it deserves 5 stars. Thanks to the staff for making our stay great and laughing with us all the time.

I was there with ny wife and our three adult chilierne. Its a wonderful place - beautiful rooms and facilities, lovely atmosphere, very nice restaurant, calm sorroundings with a lovely beach and a world class staff - we will certainly go again !
