One of the worst hospitality ever experienced. Nothing like TAJ Experience was felt. 1) Extremely understaffed. 2) No power backups. Property gets pitch dark at times of power outrage. 3) No FIRST AID available. Given the remote location of property. It is must to have inhouse. 4) No local activities which generally all TAJ IHCL properties have for recreation. 5) Spider in our plate & the waiter behaved like as it was a normal routine. 6) Mr. Jagat Singh- GM at property. He is highly unempathetic person. So for the people, who want to know further. I am going to elaborate on these points one by one below now. Above was a pointer summary. I booked TAJ IHCL RAMGADH LODGE for 3rd Janurary 2025 - 5th January 2025. We were 2 couples with our kids ***** with us, in all making us 8. The whole intention was to have a enjoy a comfortable weekend with family & friends. EXTREMELY UNDERSTAFFED a) There is absolutely no one majority time of the day at front desk. There is no bell placed so that we can call them, if we are near front desk / common areas. Just keep looking out for them or call them by entering staff areas like kitchen etc.. There were only 4 or 5 rooms occupied out of 14 rooms. Still the situation was so pathetic that you will feel, it is more comfortable not to ask. b) After 10pm. The property literally runs on 2 people. One gaurd at the main door & one attendant who sleeps in the kitchen. The reception phone line gets transferred in kitchen. Now he is responsible for ROOM SERVICE, FRONT DESK, KITCHEN, SECURITY SURVILLANCE, GUEST ANEMITIES etc... Multi profile job, which he fulfills by sleeping. Will attach image. c) During lunches, there are already a very few waiters / helpers. Struggling to serve us to the best they can but unfortunately failing to do so. It took us 3 hours just to get through the lunch. The service is so slow that literally we stopped ordering food as it was not coming in on time. By the time vegetables came, breads got cold & vice versa was happening. Now my earnest request to TAJ is, if your property is running under so stress, why are you still inviting walking guests during the day for lunches?? There was a 25 people lunch who were comfortable getting served but we as IN HOUSE GUESTS, had no preference. Like are we expected to move out of property for our meals?? NO POWER BACKUPS Being given the property is located in such a remote area, it is normal to expect power outrage. a) Now being winters, day are short. It was around 7:30pm & sun had already set. Our kids were playing in the garden. Suddenly the power goes out. No we are in ZERO VISIBLITY. PITCH DARK- and to my nightmare, i am unable to even see them where they are in that darkness. Kids started screaming terribly as even they got scared. Thank to god, that light came in 10 seconds, so then i could grab them. Else it was nothing less than a heart attack moment for me. b) Next day morning i was in bathroom. Just stepped out of shower. Now the B
