Kanota Camp

It is situated around 15 kilometres from Jaipur city on Jaipur Agra road. Three and half hours drive from Gurgaon via Mumbai Expressway. Situated on one side of Kanota dam with a vast water body. A large number of birds can be spotted in the water body in winter. Reception is situated in the centre with a few sofas to sit and daily newspapers are available here. Check in and check out procedure was quick and easy Ample parking for cars and buses too. Rooms are on ground, first, and second floors with a balcony overlooking the water body. Elevator is available. Rooms are spacious and the bed is comfortable. AC in summer and a heater is provided in the winter. Small in room safe, and coffee and tea maker is provided in the room. Toiletries include a small soap and shampoo. There is no TV in the room There are a few cottages also facing the water body and tented accommodation too. There is an auditorium with seating of around 150-200 persons for meetings and conferences. The dining hall with glass windows is situated in the centre Breakfast menu is elaborate with fruits, idli, dhokla, poha, aloo poori and chole bhature ( on alternate days), boiled eggs and omelette, bread, jam, tea, and coffee. Dinner menu is also elaborate with multiple vegetarian and one non vegetarian dish. There is a swimming pool. There are many outdoor seating areas on site with comfortable seating provided. There is a lotus pond also. There is a huge grass area with a number of activities including zorbing etc where people come to spend a day. The staff is very experienced and helpful. The owner Mr BS Rathore can also be spotted on site looking after the guests.

I went there in sept 22 on my b'day with family. Location was far from city and very close to nature. It was nice to stay there. Staff was very cooperative and helpfull. Food was good. And swimming pool and mini water park was best thing they have. My daughter (5y) enjoyed a lot . Must visit resort in jaipur and believe me it is very pocket friendly.

Despite my calls to him to enquire about the property for a trip he took my calls and said he will call back but didn't. Next call he says I am sorry and I could not call you. Still doesn't answer my questions. I asked him if he was not interested to give us a booking and should I leave a review on TripAdvisor he was "sure please leave any review you want". Decided to not to go here and then I read multiple reviews in TripAdvisor about negativity of this manager. Just shun this place and let's not go there.
