Travelodge by Wyndham Jackson North

This hotel is on the mend. The management made a real effort to make my stay as comfortable as possible. It looks as though this place has seen some rough times and possibly mismanagement but now looks like it has (or at least is making an effort to improve it's image. I had to come to Jackson to meet with the owner of the business I work for and meet with potential investors in another startup. Proper sleep and a smooth stay was important. The room was clean and quiet, and the service was prompt. I have no complaints and would stay at this Travelodge again!

From the second I arrived and attempted to check in…the service was AWFUL! I will NEVER, ((EVER)) Go there again! & It would be my recommendation that others would use DISCERNMENT when deciding to stay there as well.

We came to Jackson to visit my brother-in-law. He is staying in a half way house there so needless to say we weren't able to just go to his house to hangout so we ask for a late check out upon arriving and owner said no problem. As soon as we parked, there were needle caps I had to step over to exit the vehicle. The room was disgusting. Blood splatter all down the bathroom wall and all over the mattress cover, not to mention the mattress was the color of coffee. I told my kids not to touch anything, just lay between the hopefully washed sheets. Im pretty sure no one got much sleep. My mother-in-law had recently passed while her son was in prison and this was the first time my husband had seen his brother since that so at time to check out we decided to try to stay longer because they just hadn't had enough time so we were gonna try to pay for extra time. The owner said our only option would be to pay for another night and another pet deposit. We really didn't have a choice because we couldn't fit everyone in the vehicle to just go somewhere, so we decided ok. It's just a couple more hours, so we paid $150 more just to be able to hang out until about 6 that evening. We left our dog in the room and took 2 trips to take everyone a couple miles away to the restaurant to eat. After our 2 trips to get everyone back, I noticed someone had come in and took trash, and my purse had been ransacked. There was about $72 and a ring missing. A ring that my mother-in-law that had recently passed gave to me. This was very upsetting. My husband seen the housekeeper outside our door on his first trip dropping people off and when he pulled up she run around the building which he thought was odd.so I go around and find the housekeeper and ask her who went in our room and she tells me she did cause it is her job to get trash and towels. But there were no new trash bags in can nor any new towels. Which we were using to cover things to sit on. But he swears she didn't touch the purse. She goes into office and my husband follows her and the owner let's her show my husband the video of who was coming in and out of our room which she is starting and stopping where she wants with her phone. At first she tries to say that she is in the room beside ours when asked why she is in there so long then States that there were skittles thrown all over the floor and she was picking them up but no one had any skittles. I am assuming she was referring to the bag of mini m&m's that were sitting on the counter unopened. I'm not sure. But the owner left my husband to deal with her and rented a room to a couple for $20 cash off books for sex purposes right in front of my husband. The owner was telling the man not to rent it on the computer. It was very obvious what was going on. Then the owner leaves and never even tried to address the situation, leaving us to only deal with the housekeeper who was clearly not going to admit she was a thief. Reservation cancelled when payment ran before account was funded. SEVERAL hours before checkin. Called to pay over the phone and almost double the price.

Room was clean, in a convenient area, plenty of parking, and not expensive

terrible service will never use them again no help did not care called the same day was very dissapointed and ruined our trip never knew crime was that bad and we did not feel comfortable staying there-

My wife and I stayed here overnight in June of 2023 while traveling. The location is convenient to the highway. The room was clean and had been recently remodeled. The free breakfast was good. We are satisfied with our stay and we would stay here again.

Clean, quiet, comfortable, and felt safe being alone

They put a $25 charge on my credit card without telling me even though I paid with points. I assume it was a deposit which is typical for low-end hotels and is typically refunded after a day or two. Over a week later it's still there. I called and was told to call back the next day because the owner, Andy Patel wasn't there. I had to call Wyndham customer support. They called Patel. He told them that Wyndham Rewards are the ones that charged it, which is a lie. I got bumped over to Wyndham Rewards. They called him. He told them that he never even swiped my card which is an outrageous lie. Andy Patel swiped my card before my very eyes at 3 pm 6/14/23. I got sent to a customer service manager who also called Patel. This time, Patel told him that they're having technical problems and they're working on my refund currently. I'm told to call back in a week if the refund doesn't come through. What a nightmare! I spent a lot of time on the phone and went through quite a bit of frustration over this. DO NOT TRUST THIS GUY. The sad thing is; he had asked me for a 5-star review when I left. I was going to do it too until he ripped me off!
