Villa di Mare Seaside Suites

Visited Rhodes with family and stayed in a hotel just a five minute walk. Stumbled upon this amazing place whilst going for a walk along the beach. The bar is open to general public and has the best view to watch the sunset in the evenings. We also had a pool day here and payed 5 euros for a sun lounger. The drinks are amazing and there is a wide selection on the menu. Offers waiter service too which is just amazing. The staff were so friendly and welcoming. We enjoyed visiting and would 100% come back to this hidden gem.

We stayed at the Villa Di Mare for 7 nights 21/05 to 28/05. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left everything was absolutely fantastic. We stayed in a room with a private pool. The room was spacious, with a good fridge, very comfy bed and was cleaned spotlessly daily. The pool was an added luxury touch and ours was positioned so that we managed to get a good bit of sun in the morning with shade in the evening. The main pool had loads of sun beds and you could get a bed with sun or shade at any time of day. There was normally music on in the afternoon which was good. There are also a handful of sunbeds right overlooking the bay. Onto the food and drink. The breakfast is outstanding, best holiday hotel breakfast we’ve had. Lots of options which are made to order, not classic English cooked breakfast but still loads of eggs options plus pancakes, pastries, greek dishes etc. The cocktail bar was also excellent; banging selection of wine and best cocktails we had in Rhodes by far with a perfect view of the sunset. We ate in the evening at the restaurant twice too. Despite some great meals in the Old Town, the food here was the best we ate all holiday. Highly recommend the Beef Papardelle and the Beef Cheek Orzo. It is obvious that the team at the bar and restaurant take pride in their work and that is definitely reflected in the quality of the food and drink. Location of the hotel is great with a few bars, restaurants and mini markets right outside and within a few hundred metres stroll but most evenings we got a cab to the Old Town which is roughly 20-25 euros return. Cab rank is 2 mins walk away or there is a driver at the hotel who is often available. If you like good food and drink and want a proper chilled out stay in a great location then this place is for you - 10/10 from us. The service is what makes this place special. Huge thanks to all of the staff - cleaners, breakfast staff, barmen, dinner staff and everyone else. Would recommend this place to anyone staying in Rhodes!

This is a fabulous find. Relaxing and chilled, no running for sunbeds at a ridiculous time as people behave as adults. Super friendly and such helpful and lovely people who work here. Breakfast fab too. Really loved it. Thanks to all. Special thanks to Athina who checked in daily and couldn’t have been more lovely. Would wholeheartedly recommend.

Main pool was really nice and the restaurant was good. We had a nice and fresh greek salad and we really enjoyed it. Reception staff member was really rude with us. She gave us a comment really rude and not respectful at all. Poor service, so pity for so nice place.

Visited this hotel during our stay in Rhodes as it is open to the public and what a fantastic place it is. For only €5 for the day you can rent a sun lounger at Villa Di Mare, these loungers are super comfy with thick padding too! You get full access to the swimming pool and there is a beautiful sea view on the beach where the hotel is situated. Whilst we were there, we were waited on by the friendly and helpful staff who brought drinks to our loungers without even having to move from the loungers! The cocktails were beautifully made and bottles of beer were brought out in a bucket filled with ice to keep cool. Excellent service and friendly staff made the experience even better. We decided to make a reservation at the restaurant for our tea that night as the menu looked very nice. Whilst there for tea, we both ordered the special that was on offer which was a ribeye steak served with veg and sweet potato fries. The meal was fantastic and perfectly cooked. We were also recommended a bottle of red wine by the very helpful and friendly waiter, which this paired with the steak perfectly. We ordered puddings and then cocktails at the bar which were also fantastic. Overall a great experience and I would recommend Villa Di Mare to anybody visiting Rhodes. If we do return again we would book to stay at Villa Di Mare as the rooms looks exquisite!

Just finishing a week long holiday here with my wife and two kids. Excellent intimate hotel set on the beach with amazing sunsets every night . We had a suite with a pool which was brilliant for the kids , really spacious room and lots of privacy. The pool area bar and restaurant is fantastic, lovely relaxed vibe and stunning views. Location is perfect with lots of bars and restaurants nearby and a short 5 min taxi to Rodhes old town. The breakfast is amazing best we have had in a hotel and dinner in the bar or restaurant is superb! The staff are excellent from reception to ALL of the waiters/ waitresses, service staff they really get customer service every staff member we have encountered have the same standards, a friendly smile , eye contact and nothing is too much trouble. This hotel is a gem , we will definitely return and would highly recommend it.
