We spendSe one week. Comfortable, clean hotel. Strategic location, close to the most important sites to visit, good breakfast, courtesy and friendliness of the staff. Hotel that met expectations. Comfortable garden in which to relax after a day spent visiting Istanbul. The hotel is located not far from the sea and waking up was guaranteed by the pleasant singing of the seagulls Leonardo

We had a fabulous stay at the Enderun Hotel. I had a few issues with trips after I arrived, however, these were dealt with swiftly and impeccably by the staff who were incredibly kind and helpful. We felt very well looked after. In fact, I would go so far as to say, that I had the best service of any hotel I have stayed in. The staff really went above and beyond to make sure that we had a comfortable and enjoyable stay. The hotel is in an atmospheric old building with a lovely breakfast area in a warm, glass dome outside (we visited in March and it was very cosy). The breakfast is a yummy spread of cheeses, salads and hot-cooked food. The rooms are comfortable and clean and there is a jacuzzi and sauna downstairs. The hotel is close to the Grand Bazaar and all the main attractions of the Old Town are within walking distance. Recommended.

We have just returned from a four night stay at this hotel. Our outbound flight was delayed so we arrived at the hotel later than anticipated. The hotel had pre-arranged transportation from the airport and that went extremely well by following their instructions. However, on arrival at the hotel the manager not only recommended somewhere to eat but walked us to a nearby restaurant. On our return he was happy to advise us on local tours to take given our limited time there, three full days. We arranged three activities and by the hotel booking them we had a slight discount on price.Not sure if it is normal but payment for two trips were made in cash to the hotel, but no receipt given. However there were no problems with transport pick up or return, so maybe that's the way it's done. The hotel itself is comfortable and clean and every member of staff helpful and friendly. The hotel is located in a manufacturing area, mainly shoes and leather goods, but don't let that put you off. For me it just added to the atmosphere of being in that environment in the middle of a bustling city. However, you are only a 15 - 20 minute walk from all the main attractions - Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia (both a must see) and Topkapi Palace. Also recommend the evening cruise with dinner. Breakfast was a good set up for the day so no worries about eating during the day. A couple of general things to think about: * Istanbul is far hillier than I anticipated, so take good walking shoes. * TAKE EUROS. There is a great reluctance for anywhere to take their own currency. Everything is priced in Euros. In one cafe the price was indicated in Euros. Staff didn't even know prices in Turkish lira! Paid in Euros but got change in US $!! * Beware of being ripped off in the Grand Bazaar. My wife didn't fully understand the conversion rates and ended up being charged over £50 for a kilo of Turkish delight. I certainly wasn't delighted.

We were very impressed with the excellent service provided by Osman and Hakan who looked after us during our stay. Nothing was a problem and they were able to assist with our needs to getting around the city which was such a tremendous help. They provided guidance and were very kind and friendly. The hotel felt like home away from home and our rooms were spacious and clean (we were upgraded halfway through our stay without even asking). Buffet breakfast in the garden pavilion is also included. We look forward to staying here again.

Friendly staff, good location close to grand bazaar, tram and close walk to ayiasofia. Good full breakfast. rooms are a bit dated but clean and quiet.

Stayed 4 nights and most of the staff are fantastic, two of them are a bit weird. We had two rooms but one had issues with the heating pipes ticking but was offered another room but declined. Beds are terrible. Pillows available are soft and hard option. Breakfast is fantastic. Only negative is the areas streets are bollard controlled so some taxis can't get in and end up dumping you bit of a walk away.

Staff were always helpful, our room was comfortable and service was excellent. I would recommend the Hotel. It's location is within easy walking distance of many top historic sites and great public transport close by too.

Good hotel for the price. Friendly and helpful staff, especially Harkhan who organised a well-priced taxi to the airport. Clean rooms and comfortable beds. To be aware: hamman is not included in the price.

Absolutely beautiful. Olde world charm and sophistication coupled with modern facilities. Immaculately maintained daily with hygiene being a priority. Beds and bedding made for a very comfortable nights sleep. Rooms beautifully presented. Location is perfect for shopping and sightseeing. Staff are so accommodating and polite I can’t fault them. Situated in a side street off the main road I ventured out alone (female) and felt safe doing so despite reading reviews to the contrary. Breakfast was rewarding with a great selection of items to suit any taste. The Turkish coffee brought out to me in the garden after breakfast was a real treat. I would definitely book to stay here again.

We had a nice stay in Enderun. Very polite and helpful staff. Nice breakfast spread, good location, nice spacious room.

Brilliantly located to see main tourist attractions (15min walk to Blue mosque). It’s in the middle of the shoe shop area up a side street. It was fine being a couple but I wouldn’t feel that safe being just female ! Hotel is quite basic (needs a bit of refurb) but we were so busy out and about that we were only sleeping there so it was adequate. Staff are very friendly and go out of their way to help you. We stayed twice there during a two centre holiday. The first stay we were in a tiny room but the manager offered to change us to a bigger room half way thru our stay (without us asking him) which was very kind of him. Breakfast not that great but it’s better than nothing !
