Hürriyet Hotel

As an avid traveler, I've stayed in various accommodations across the globe, but my recent experience at Hurriyet Hotel left me utterly disappointed. Despite the promising photos online, the reality was far from what was advertised. First and foremost, the hotel looked nothing like the polished images displayed on the net. Instead of a welcoming and well-maintained establishment, I was greeted with a grimy lobby and unkempt corridors. The cleanliness of the entire premises was questionable at best, with dirt and dust accumulating in corners and on surfaces. Moreover, the condition of the rooms was appalling. Fixtures like shelves were on the verge of collapse, hanging of the wall in the bathroom, and the overall hygiene standards were subpar. It was evident that maintenance and fixing was sorely lacking, contributing to a sense of discomfort and dissatisfaction throughout my stay. The most alarming aspect of my visit was the persistent disturbance caused by loud, violent banging on one. of the rooms on 3 separate occasions. I couldn't understand the language they were yelling. This disruption not only deprived me of much-needed rest but also raised concerns about the safety and security measures in place at the hotel. Located in an overcrowded area, the noise pollution was incessant. Even the supposedly serene rooftop, which could have offered respite from the chaos below, was left unkept and unwelcoming. Weird, old mismatched furniture. Adding to the overall sense of unease was the presence of numerous unidentified men loitering around the management and reception area. This made female guests like myself feel very uncomfortable and vulnerable, casting serious doubt on the safely. A bunch of guys hanging out, could be cultural but when you're watching and commenting on the female guests coming and going, it's SCARY. Worse was that 2 men came up to the receptionist as he was dealing with me and said something about a room number. Then the Receptionist asked me "are you in 207?" I said no. What the h is going on here? In conclusion, my experience at Hurriyet Hotel was nothing short of a nightmare. From the misleading photos to the dismal cleanliness standards, persistent disturbances, and unsettling atmosphere, and most of all sheer terror - it fell far below expectations. I would strongly advise against choosing this establishment for your accommodation needs, as it fails to deliver even the most basic requirements of a comfortable and secure stay.

I don’t think the hotel has the best rooms i’ve ever seen (but they’re pretty clean and tidy). But, for sure, there work the best people i‘ve ever met. Thank you for the hospitality and special thanks to the owner who helped me, when I was sick

Non so nemmeno da dove iniziare…. Quando siamo entrati in stanza volevamo fare la doccia dopo 12 ore di viaggio, beh nella vasca c’erano peli e capelli di altre persone. La tazza del wc era sporca e per fare pipì ho dovuto disinfettare tutto con l’amuchina, quando abbiamo chiesto di mandare qualcuno a pulire ci è stato detto che avremmo dovuto aspettare la donna delle pulizie il giorno seguente, dopo più di un ora di discussioni, quando abbiamo chiesto i soldi del soggiorno indietro ci hanno mandato un ragazzo a pulire. La stanza era vecchia e abbozzata, aria condizionata e tv non funzionanti. La camera su Booking risultava avere la terrazza mentre la terrazza è un luogo comune per tutti gli ospiti. La qualità della colazione a dir poco scadente, ne abbiamo usufruito solo 1 volta. L’ascensore claustrofobico presente solo un ala dell’albergo a partire dal prima piano (chiamato piano zero, ma per arrivarci dovevi salire delle scale anguste e molto ripide, non adatto assolutamente a bambini, anziani o disabili. Il receptionist molto strano, seguiva i movimenti miei e della mia amica tramite le telecamere della hall. La penultima sera siamo andate nella stanza di due amici per aiutarli a fare i bagagli e il receptionist ci ha chiamate 5/6 volte tramite il telefono della stanza per dirci di andare via da quella camera perché essendo un “family hotel” non ci era permesso stare in quella stanza, cosa inaudita anche per i ragazzi (di origine turca). Il wifi quasi inesistente nella maggior parte delle aree dell’hotel. Insomma, di salvabile c’è solo la terrazza, la posizione e i ragazzi più giovani (intorno ai 18 anni) del personale che hanno cercato di farci sentire a nostro agio dopo le diverse lamentele. Allego foto delle condizioni pessime di camera e bagno!

Avevo una budget room, purtroppo la camera era minuscola, vetusta con cattivo odore e dalla finestra una brutta vista direttamente sulla scala di emergenza. Ho trovato la camera sporca, capelli e peli nel letto e cestino in bagno non svuotato ed il box doccia difettoso perché vecchio. Tuttavia la posizione è ottima per visitare i monumenti e le attrazioni della città. Pessimo rapporto qualità prezzo. Silenzioso, si riposa bene. Colazione a buffet con buona scelta.

Veníamos de un viaje por todo Turquía y debido a las expectativas de otros hoteles y el precio de este mismo nos esperábamos otra cosa, comenzando por la atención de la persona de recepción la cual no se dignó a saludarnos, pasamos a la habitación y esta era un zulo con dos camas un ventanal que da a un patio interior el cual está lleno de máquinas de aire acondicionado que no te dejan pegar ojo. Al abrir el baño es cuando llego nuestra gran sorpresa, estaba completamente lleno de moho olía a humedad de una forma vomitiva y la grandeza de este no te dejaba casi ni secarte los pies. El buffet del desayuno es bastante escaso y con pocas opciones si eres Europeo, los primeros días aún había cereales pero en los últimos ni eso. Lo único que valoraría positivamente es la ubicación pero debido al precio y los servicios que ofrecen es mejor que busques otra opción.
