Most unkind and entirely money minded with no hospitality, especially towards female solo travellers. They have added fake filters in make my trip about having an elevator. I had to search for a hotel with elevator because of my knee problem. This property does not have an elevator and when questioned about why it’s updated so they receptionists talk in a very silly way .. saying we don’t know how .. coming to the breakfast which was very pathetic.. even before it’s 10-30 they start removing things in an unprofessional manner. The rooms are small as well.No safety lockers in the room.The next day I found a more good hotel just in walking distance, as they asked me to go to third floor without elevator not considering my knee problem. Unkind, In hospitable.

Positive: • Great location, within walking distance to most tourist attractions. • Very helpful staff. • Rooms were a good size. Negative: • Rooms could do with more cleaning. • Breakfast was a complete letdown: unhygienic and poor quality.

Good value hotel. Very friendly staff who went above and beyond for our group of 15 people. Rooms were very clean and breakfast was tasty with something for everyone. Nice view from the Rooftop area. No bar on site but several local shops will have what you want. Hotel set in a quiet street but is a short walk to many of the best Tourist attractions (Blue Mosque / Basicillia Cistern / Tocapi Palace etc.) Metro station not far away. One little point. The streets around the hotel are quite steep in places and cobblestoned. Not good if you have difficulty walking. Many small goodrestaurants nearby.

This hotel is just a short walk from many of the main attractions (Blue Mosque, Basilica Cistern, Haghia Sofia and even Topkapi Palace). Clean, well laid out and a relaxing place to be. Roof terrace (tables and chairs, hammock) was lovely and offered a fantastic view, including a sea view. We were given the option of taking our breakfast up there, too, but never got round to it. Breakfast was excellent with a really good range of different things. The room was small but comfortable and there was a safe and a kettle and coffee/tea. Staff were incredibly helpful and welcoming. There is a lovely lounge area next to reception with very comfy chairs and a small library of books, and we were offered tea and coffee when waiting for a shuttle one day. I would wholeheartedly recommend staying here; I wish we had stayed longer.

Very nice and stylish hotel with quirky little features. Lovely breakfast, the lady serving the breakfast was always smiling and this really set your day off to a good start. We travelled as a family of 8 (5 adults 3 kids) we booked 2 family rooms, one of them was the queen room with Seaview and wraparound balcony. Rooms were spacious and clean only downside to all this was that my son who was on holiday with us and his 3 young kids had lots of problems with the AC his room and there was a foul smell that hit you when you came into the room. He also had a power cut in his room for a few hours and an engineer had to be called out to fix it. We complained repeatedly for 4 days about the AC and eventually they offered my son a smaller room with no Seaview even though we had paid for the bigger room but refused to give a partial refund for the downgrade or offer a free airport transfer! On the 4th day they sent the man who did the breakfast to do a DIY job but it resolved the issue. We booked for 8 nights however my son only really got to enjoy 4 of them for the above reasons. If we didn't have the issues mentioned above I would have rated it 5 stars however I feel it's important to share customer experiences.

Lovely little hotel for a 4 day stay. Staff are friendly and the hotel is charming and quirky with lovely resident cats to meet. A great location only 5-7 minutes from Sultanahmet, however be mindful that the hotel is on a relatively steep incline to and from attractions so this may be a concern if you have mobility issues. Room was comfortable and the bathroom was well appointed and clean. The only welcome addition would have been better lighting as it was quite dark getting ready to go out in the evenings even with all the lights. Breakfast was included but wasn’t to our taste. Staff were so friendly and helpful and always said hello and goodbye when you were entering or leaving the hotel, and were more than happy to give us directions when asked. It was really good value for money, especially as our stay was over the whole of Eid.

The hotel has an excellent location. It's easy walking distance to the major sights in the area but on a quiet side street. Check-in was easy and everyone was friendly. We had a twin room which was on the small side but the beds were comfortable. The bathroom could use a good scrubbing and the toilet made weird noises but it worked for us. The breakfast was tasty and had plenty of options. The hotel has a great terrace where you can watch the ships waiting to unload their cargo. There were plenty of small markets and restaurants in the area. If you survive the ride from the airport to the hotel, you will find it is a fine place to stay.

My first visit to Istanbul. The hotel staff forgot to book the transfer from the airport. When I arrived, exhausted the receptionist made me wait and ignored me. Dealing for ever with a party guests in a slow peace. This same treatment when I been departing. As with a group of guests come bigger profit, this is what you get. I been allocated in a very noisy, tired room. The next day I asked for the room from the quiet side. Unfortunately all bigger, quiet rooms for families or couples are located at the quiet side, this is why this hotel is earning the top reviews. Big rooms with lots of guests are very much welcomed, not solo travellers. I have been moved one floor up. Slight difference as for this site is the entrance to the another hotel where taxis honking till late night and very early morning. Staff and guests outside are yelling to their phones for ever. Forget about a good sleep. Most staff Rumours Inn always smiley offering over priced trips and the transfer to the airport is rip off! 65 euros, when a bus transfer costs 50 TL. Other hotels offering cheaper transfers. If you question something, the smiley staff are turning unpleasant, one man who just started the job was lazy and rude. Told me in broken English, if you don't like, do it yourself and be happy. Absolutely nasty one. Breakfast all the time this same. On the websites Rumours Inn have glamorous pictures, but in the reality every thing looks old and tired. I booked the Rumours Inn via ***********. I left my shorter review there. The hotel, instead to apologise for all inconvenience they caused, they rudely replied with an information , the road around this hotel is closed for cars trying to discredit my complain about noisy honking cars. Perhaps it is closed for the general traffic, but multiple cars were driving around like taxis and transfers. Waiting for passengers, not able to go through the narrow street. Location of the place is really central to the main tourist attractions. As I travel a lot all over the world, people are proud to serve their best cosine all over. Istanbul- especially Sultanahmet it is not the case. It is the first place where you will be served your food dishonestly in restaurants. If you ask for a kebab, the man with a smile will turn around, hide with his posture, what he is getting to your sandwich and when you eat, you find just a pitta bread with hardly any meat and just parsley. But as you see Turkish people, their kebabs are full of meat, salad and roast peppers. Strange, deceiving place. In the regards to Rumours Inn, I would recommend a different accommodation for a single traveller.

The staff was friendly, my journey in hotel was perfect, it relieves. The view and climate were just amazing. I am planning to visit in December but this time with friends. I recommend it. The ares is just perfect, close to nice places. The center.

Çalışanlar tarafından çok iyi ağırlandım. Yemek ve diğer konaklama hizmetleri memnun ediciydi. Odaların temizliğine önem verilmiş. Yemeğinizi manzaraya karşı yiyorsunuz. Tekrar tercih etmem için gerekli tüm şartlar mevcuttu.

I have stayed at this hotel in april (3nights) - initially we reserved a triple room but upon arrinving we were upgraded to an apartment (2 rooms, 1 bathroom, terrace). The hotel is very close to Blue moqgue and aprox 10min walking to Big bazaar. The staff was very nice and helpful - they explained a bit the main city attractions, helped with booking the Bosforous cruise etc. We also booked with them the airport transfer (50euro/3pers/1way) . The breakfast was ok, enough food selection to have what to choose from. I reccomemded.

Уютный отель, расположенный в спокойном районе. Очень отзывчивый персонал и вкусные завтраки. В этом отели есть все необходимое для качественного отдыха. Особенно порадовало расположение, главные достопримечательности старой части города находятся в пешей доступности. Рекомендую!

Ich bemühe mich das Hotel nicht ganz so schlimm darzustellen. Wer den Reels auf Instagram folgt, wird ganz sicher enttäuscht sein denn die Realität schaut anders aus! Die Zimmer sind einfach und geputzt wurde nicht einmal in den vier Tagen. Schwarze Haare im Bad die bei Ankunft auf dem Boden lagen, liegen bestimmt auch jetzt noch dort. Der Balkon völlig verdreckt. Das Frühstück ist einfach und schlicht gehalten, wer ein typisches türkisches Frühstück erwartet ist definitiv hier falsch. Ich war jetzt sieben mal in Istanbul und das ist definitiv eines der schlechteren Hotels in dem ich geschlafen habe. Ach und die Betten sind nicht 1,60 cm sondern 1,40 cm! Hart und unbequem. Man muss gut zu Fuß sein wenn man in den oberen Etagen sein Zimmer hat. Schade, wenn es so wie auf den Fotos gewesen wäre, hätte ich dieses Hotel weiter empfohlen. Aber so gibt es von mir keine Empfehlung 😏

La struttura si trova nel quartiere di Sultanahmet, vicino alle maggiori attrazioni della città, ma in una via lontana dal caos e dal traffico cittadino. L'intero hotel è arredato in stile industriale, la colazione è varia e comprende sia dolce che salato. Personale giovane e disponibile. Dalla terrazza c'è una splendida vista sul Bosforo. Abbiamo avuto un paio di problemi con la prenotazione ma il manager ha risolto subito il problema. Consigliato
