Rayelin Hotel Istanbul Old City

What can I say, I was a little apprehensive booking as we normally stay in 5* hotels, but the Rayelin was just amazing. From the staff on front desk - Azat, Mustafa and Isabel with the lovely Safa the porter to the Housekeeping staff Amina and her team to the Breakfast team Sima and team to the Moda staff Elif and team, just pure soles, always willing to help with a smile. This is a very new hotel and you can tell. Extremely clean and smells lovely! Housekeeping was done on time daily with sheets changed and hoover every other day. The hotel location is very central with access to Grand Bazaar at a short walk and going to other areas in taxi. There are lots of restaurants and shops in the vercinaty. Even though Rayelin is situated on a main road, we were never disturbed from the traffic. Calling cabs we would use Uber(highly recommend) otherwise you will pay double/triple fare. To be able to get a taxi you do need to cross over the road to Nila Shoes and pick Uber from there as the traffic is quite busy and can take quite a while. Breakfast is great with lots to offer from omelette to fried egg, mix of warm food option's changed Daily. Swimming and Spa access all included in the price. Swimming pool is outstanding, a little cold but soon get used to it. Sauna and steam room fab! Great showers and locker access with code. Moda food is very reasonable and the chai and baklava to die for. Family of 4 stayed 10 days, we didnt want to leave, we WILL be back soon.

Probably one of the cleanest and best hotels in Fatih Area. As hotel is new opened in 2023 I think. Showers were great, beds were good. Room service was ok. Breakfast was ok. Offers spa facilities. Metro nearby so good location. Yes they could improve on English but apart from that all ok.

Beautiful, recently refurbished/ renovated hotel. Stayed here in the last week of May 2024. Lovely rooms with excellent beds, furnishings and complimentary tea/coffee/water. Excellent bathroom with amazing power shower and complimentary quality toileteries. Facilities include decent wifi, a gym, a pool and a sauna (which have a daily ladies hour). I enjoyed breakfast, there was a good variety, however, it has a continental vibe that might not be everyones taste. The staff are welcoming, polite and really helpful... from reception to the restaurant ...to the maids and staff in the other facilities. I thought the location was great. The metro and tram are minutes from the hotel door but the Grand Bazaar and Sultanahmet are within walking distance. The restaurants in this district are actually better than Sultanahmet - in terms of food quality and pricing. Would definitely stay again.

Had a lovely stay at this hotel.The staff were very helpful from the one at the reception to the lobby staff ( Sultan ,Sefa) ,without forgetting all the staff in the restaurant ,the cleaners especially Endam and Saima. Clean,Convenient, close to many facilities and easy access to landmarks and shopping bazaar. Transport facilities at hand. The breakfast buffet was nice.

Bad experience, not responding, I booked a connection room but they failed to deliver. Then said this what we have………… after call the agency they offered fruit basket or can go to room with power and lighting but connected because no maintenance works in weekend

Don't risk your trip! Terrible experience! They canceled my booking just a day before my flight. Clearly, they prioritize higher-paying customers over commitments. Unreliable and unprofessional. Avoid booking here unless you want your plans ruined at the last minute. Totally unacceptable and disappointing service. Do not trust this hotel with your reservations.

One of the best hotel experiences I have ever had in my life. When we first arrived, my girlfriend realised she had left her phone in the taxi that dropped us off. Sultan and the front of house manager were quick to take control of the situation. They called the company and asked the driver to drop it off, which was done in 5 minutes! They then brought us water and deserts whilst we were checking in. From the start of our experience here to breakfast the next day, every single member of staff was incredibly polite and professional. We also had the Gold package treatments in the Spa, which were some of the best massages we have ever experienced. Yet again, very professional and polite staff. The staff at this hotel genuinely make you feel as though they are happy for you to be there, and nothing is ever too much trouble. We are still mid-way through our stay, but I felt as though the experience so far deserved the review. If you’re looking for a hotel in Istanbul, look no further!

The bed was not only huge but also exceptionally comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep. The bathroom was a highlight, featuring Axor branded taps and showers that added a touch of elegance and luxury. The room's decor was lovely, with thoughtful details that created a welcoming and stylish atmosphere. We also enjoyed the in-built speakers that provided high-quality sound for our music. To our delight, the room was stocked with fresh fruit and dry fruit, a thoughtful touch that added to the overall sense of luxury. The staff were amazing—kind, helpful, and always attentive to our needs. They frequently checked in to see if there was anything we required, ensuring our stay was as comfortable as possible. Location The hotel's location is perfect for exploring the city. It's a pleasant 20-minute walk to the Grand Bazaar, and the journey feels even shorter thanks to the abundance of shops along the way. This prime location allowed us to immerse ourselves in the local culture and attractions with ease. Spa and Gym Facilities We made use of the spa and gym facilities during our stay. The gym was decent, equipped with all the necessary machines for a good workout. The sauna and steam room were nice additions that enhanced our relaxation. Unfortunately, the jacuzzi wasn't working during our visit, which was a slight disappointment, but it did not detract significantly from our overall experience. Overall Experience Overall, our stay at this hotel was nothing short of lovely. The luxurious room, excellent location, and outstanding staff made it a memorable visit. Despite the minor issue with the jacuzzi, we thoroughly enjoyed our time here and are already looking forward to our next stay. This was our first time in Istanbul and I wanted to stay in the old city. Picked Rayelin because the photos looked appealing. Once there it was love from the start. Great welcome, Mustafa explained everything to us re hotel and things to do. The room was amazing (pity overlooking a weird road), clean, new, modern with a nice plate of fruit and sweets, The bed was so comfortable and the shower is the best. Can’t fault it. Breakfast was super… all you can eat. They might need to do better cappuccino . At reception people are so honest and caring. Well dressed, good English, they run out to get you cabs… top top we loved it
