Enjoyed a very good two-night stay at Harris Hotel. The room was comfortable and cosy, though could use a little TLC—some worn features and tricky windows. That said, the breakfast and dinner were excellent, both in quality and atmosphere. Overall, it’s a well-located hotel with great potential. With a bit of updating, it could really shine. I’d happily recommend it to anyone visiting Harris—it’s a convenient and comfortable base for exploring this stunning island.

Lovely Hotel, Great Staff, Excellent Food, Perfect location It is a shame we live far away in the West Country and cannot visit more often

Wonderful family/reunion dinner.. What can I say? The food and service were excellent... Staff were very polite and courteous..We all had a great time including the children we will be back next year 💯 we'll done Harris Hotel..5 stars well earned.

We had a party of 14 for a 60th birthday party...What a fantastic night..meal was superb as were the staff..would definitely recommend...we will be back .

Very glad to arrive at this hotel Very nice welcome and most friendly staff with a nice atmosphere in the public areas Excellent if not stunning whisky selection I arrived just in time for dinner which was good choices.now not Michelin star but homely produced and very good Donna in reception helped so much with my booking and needs All staff most pleasant and helpful This hotel excellent spot for touring around Harris by foot car or boat

Another great meal in the restaurant.Not easy to get booked but got a table at 5.15pm - the dining room was already busy! Lovely Crayfish Caesar Salad to start.Gorgeous North Uist scallops and Black Pudding for my husband as mains and for myself, a superb Lamb Shank.Sticky Toffee Pudding was particularly good too.Nice ambience and good music playing…old standards, as I recall - quality stuff!

We were ataying in Tarbert, waiting for the ferry, and went to the pizza bar for dinner and beer. (we were non residents). Very nice,efficient and friendly staff. Pizzas were great!! Nice surroundings shared with other visitors and locals alike. Would go back.

5 Great family run business. Superb hospitality, Sarah and Andrew show want a fantastic family owned and run hotel should be like. Every guest is genuinely looked after. They care, they go out of their way to make sure guests have a truly memorable experience of Harris, the Hebrides and Scotland.. they also have one of the most authentic Whisky bars in the world! 👏👏👏

The cosiest little hotel. Warm and comfortable rooms, delicious food and kindest staff. I came out of the tourist season when everything is closed in town. This hotel was my restaurant, coffee shop and rest stop. Would definitely come back.
