Hôtel Aalborg

Just back from a ski break with 2 friends. Staff at the hotel are really helpful and friendly - special recognition to the barman. The hotel is easily located to get to the Diable lift which whisks you up to the slopes in no time. It has it's own hire shop so renting equipment was simple. Our triple room was simple but clean and the beds were comfy (I like a firm bed). Only complaint on the room would be that the shower didn't get overly warm at times. Breakfast is a buffet and is varied enough to fuel up on for the day. Not spectacular but at the price point was surprisingly good. The hotel has a terrace and serves food at lunchtime and in evenings although we ate out as it's quick and easy to access the main areas of Les2Alpes. We'd use again if visiting Les2Alpes.

We have just had 4 nights at the Aalborg and our stay was very good. The hotel is very clean, staff are excellent and the ski in ski location is really good giving easy access to the huge ski area. Even the school party there were no trouble! Would definitely come back

We went skiing in Les Deux Alpes and stayed at Hotel Aalborg for 5 night. A perfect location next to the skiing area, with the sunniest terras in Les Deux Alpes. Everybody at the hotel was extremely friendly, service oriented and helpful. Service at the terras was perfect, so was it in the bar, reception and restaurant. Breakfast was good with plenty of choices. It was convenient to have a ski-shop in the same building and parking next to it. The hotel is not new but there is a nice and cosy atmosphere. The rooms contain what one need for a great holiday, beds were good but, with one small remark, our bathroom was a bit outdated and could do with an uplift. As a 3 star hotel, it offers very good value for money. In our opinion, with a few uplifts it could easily be considered a 4 star hotel. We enjoyed staying at Aalborg and will be happy to come back.

Unfortunatelly our stay at hotel was very dissapointing to what the fotos show! Everything was bad from our first day, the room very old, unpleasant, dirty carpet, no tea, coffee, no fridge, no soap, they offee shampoo gel to be used as a soap! The food in restaurant terrible, everything we ordered at dinner was untasty, the desserts were worst than the one u can buy in supermarket! The breakfast for all our stay was the worst I have had in Europe, it resembles to the one hotels in Africa offer! Always running out of croassants, eggs, which were the mainly meal as there was not much else, once I came 20 min before 10 am when they close and there was no more bread and croassants, had to ask, they offered some homemade cookies which were very hard and not possible to eat! The coffee from mashine tastes very very bad! I ordered once a crepe, it went in the trush, never had such a bad crepe! It looks like the hotel does not have a chef, instead somebody who has no clue about simple normal food! The only good things about the hotel are the bar and reception staff and the view. There are so many other hotels nearby close to the pists Im sure cant be so bad as this one!

Super friendly and helpful staff, looked after us from start to finish. We were made to feel very welcome the moment we arrived, and had a fantastic week. Great food, excellent service and a truly amazing location. Didn't want to leave and will definitely be back.

Magnigique chalet, tres bien aménagé et décoré avec goût. L'emplacement est idéal, pres du centre du village et depart ski aux pied pour profiter du superbe domaine des 2 Alpes. Les chambres sont joliment décorées, de bonne taille, la literie est très confortable et la salle de bain propre et fonctionnelle. La cuisine aux accents d'Italie est bonne, le petit déjeuner est de bonne facture. Le bar et la terrasse sont agréables pour se délasser après une journée de ski ! Le magasin de location de ski est très bien équipé et propose du bon matériel. Toute l'équipe de l'établissement est sympathique et accueillante. Nous avons passé un bon séjour.
