Hotel Giardino Delle Ninfe E la Fenice

Old world quiet charm! We chose this hotel for the views, thermal pool and the beachside access. The area was quiet and only 10 minute bus ride from the Ischia port or a 35 minute walk if you’re up for it. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the breakfast was really nice- especially with the castle views. The room decor was ‘old world charm’ but was very clean. We especially enjoyed lounging in the chaises by the beach and relaxing and walking into town for our dinners. We stayed in October and benefited from less crowds than the summer.

Was a disaster. You have to climb to your room and close the door of your room because is full of cats! And a big bug in bed! The breakfast consisted in some pieces of ham ,kind of green for how old they were. And the lady owner obliged us to buy her wine which what I did and the wine was OK. But not oblige people. Overall ,I will never go to ischia because was such a bad experience

If I could, I would give 3.5. Stars, as our stay was good, the location is amazing, the views, the garden and access to beach excellent, but the overall atmosphere is rather strange. Staff are friendly and helpful, however we got the feeling that it is an old family business lacking a certain spark. The lonely waiter in restaurant is very charming and helpful, however he couldn't disguise the fact that the chef for the evening meal was not up to scratch, and therefore I wouldn't recommend this hotel for evening dinners. I guess that my friend's Pizza was okay, but I thought that my supermarket tortellini with a luke warm (not necessarily home made) sauce were overpriced. Breakfast was fine. However, it wasn't the hotel's fault that the weather was very disappointing for May in Italy, so I'd say for the price we paid, it was fine. And I'd say it again: The view is amazing!!!

Vacanza fatta con amiche in questa struttura per la prima volta,conoscevano la zona però. La location,scogli di S Anna ,10 e lode,mare e panorama bellissimi.Tutto il resto da rivedere.Cibo peggiore che io abbia mangiato in 15 anni che vengo ad Ischia,addirittura preparato di pesce surgelato per il risotto ,frutta (quando c'era )prugne gialle per sette giorni. Proprietari anziani poco flessibili ,proibizioni su tutto.Peccato potrebbe essere un paradiso ma.....ci è sembrato più che altro un purgatorio.

Purtroppo esperienza molto deludente. Siamo stati ospiti presso Il Giardino delle Nife e la Fenice ad Ischia e, purtroppo, non ci siamo trovati affatto bene. Già dal primo giorno, l’acqua termale — che ci aspettavamo limpida e azzurra — era invece marrone, rendendo poco piacevole il bagno. Una sera abbiamo deciso di cenare in struttura: ci era stato detto di un menù pizza a 10€ a persona, con pizza a scelta, acqua e patate. Abbiamo quindi ordinato due pizze (una margherita e una bianca “col prosciutto ”) e, una volta al ristorante, aggiunto due coca cole e niente patate perché non ci sono state portate . Ci aspettavamo quindi 20€ più l’extra delle coca-cole , invece il conto finale è stato di 36€. La proprietaria, persona piuttosto scontrosa, non ha chiarito la questione in modo cortese, né si è scusata. Il momento peggiore è stato quando mi è stato servito del prosciutto visibilmente e olfattivamente rovinato: l’odore era sgradevole e la qualità pessima. Abbiamo segnalato il problema in modo discreto, per non imbarazzare la sala, ma ci è stato risposto che era “di ottima qualità” e nessuno ha mostrato un minimo di comprensione. Va sottolineato che il personale di sala (colazione, pranzo e cena) e le receptionist sono stati sempre gentili e professionali: nulla da ridire su di loro. Purtroppo, la gestione da parte della proprietaria ha rovinato completamente il soggiorno. In risposta a una nostra recensione, ci siamo anche sentiti dire frasi offensive (“dare le perle ai porci”) e, addirittura, che “Dio ci giudicherà” per ciò che avevamo scritto. La struttura ha grandi potenzialità: vanta una vista pazzesca, un giardino molto carino . Purtroppo, però, è completamente lasciata andare a se stessa, in un modo imbarazzante. Un peccato, perché con un’accoglienza diversa e un po’ di attenzione al cliente, la nostra esperienza sarebbe potuta essere completamente diversa.
