Heathmount Hotel

Myself and my partner recently stayed here for a night in February. The hotel was not hard to find however reception was slight as it’s very small. However once we got there the staff were lovely and checked us in. Our room was beautiful big fresh clean and cosy. We also chose to eat within the hotel our evening meal in the clearly very popular restaurant downstairs. We were seated promptly and had a drinks order taken. The young lads that looked after us were fantastic nothing was an issue managing to keep up and look after all their guests despite it being very busy. So shout out to them we had a couple of courses and few drinks which were all lovely. The restaurant was reasonably priced the only thing we never had was breakfast there as we wanted to try a place in town we had heard about. Definitely had a fantastic experience and we will stay here again if we are back in Inverness.

Fantastic hotel. Room was clean and spacious. Laundry service was cheap, clean and fast. Short walking distance to good restaurants and bars. I would highly recommend to anyone traveling in Inverness. Bar downstairs had a great selection

Great location in Inverness, an easy walk to high street and quick access to major roadways. It’s a good stopping point if you are exploring the NC500 or visiting Urquhart Castle or Culloden. The beds are comfortable and the rooms are decent size. Their website says to worry about the top floor rooms if you are tall. I am 6’1” and had no issues, so unless you are taller than that, you will likely have no trouble. The restaurant on the ground floor is pretty good, reasonably-priced with some tasty options and local brews on tap.

Nice enough bar. Split into two sections with the front being a better option than the rear. Reasonably close to the centre of the city. Can be a it pricey for some drinks. Would consider going here again. Not tried the food but it does have a reputation for providing good food.

Excellent hotel option in Inverness. The hotel was easy to get to, nearby to Culloden and other site seeing options, as well as includes parking. The hotel seems recently updated as the rooms were very modern in retrospect to the exterior of the building. The rooms were very clean. We ate dinner and breakfast at the hotel and both meals were excellent and the staff were all extremely friendly and helpful. During this time of year we did not require reservations to the restaurant. Depending on your length of stay, the hotel does not have an elevator so you will need to carry your luggage up a couple flights of stairs. Not an issue, just be aware depending on your ability. They do offer single night bookings which was a plus for our travelling party on the move. Would definitely stay here again! Absolutely loved out stay at Heathmount!

The service in this venue has to be seen to be believed. Bar not particularly busy but the bar staff were clearly struggling to cope. After a 20 minute wait the barman refused to serve me because "you can only order one meal at a time", my colleague having just ordered. Absolutely laughable. Avoid like the plague.
