This 1800 sq. ft. historic log cabin was once an out building for lumberjacks, a Post Office, a General Store, a Tavern and a restaurant.Now it boasts 3 bedrooms, one with a king sized bed and two with queen sized beds, a granite and fieldstone fireplace with a wood burning insert.It is on the Sawyer County ATV and Snowmobile trail and it is located on Ghost Creek for kayaking or canoeing. The creek leads to the West Fork of the Chippewa River. If you enjoy cross country skiing, it is located 4 miles from the Mukwonago ski trail. The town of Hayward is 23 miles west of the house. The Lookout is nestled in the Chequamegon National Forest, close to numerous hiking trails and iconic Super Clubs. Sit at the firepit under the canopy of the forest or sip coffee on the massive front deck, it is up to you how to soak in all that nature has to offer. The Lookout is fully stocked and is conveniently situated near the towns of Hayward and Clam Lake.
