The large sliding glass door opens to an expansive deck overlooking the pool area. The main floor also has a Queen size bedroom and a full bathroom with unique, pebble floor shower. Upstairs are three bedrooms including the palatial master King bedroom with a private outside balcony. With its partial Ocean View, it's a great retreat for sipping a margarita and watching the sun set. The master bath has an elegant pedestal tub to soak your cares away. There is also a separate stall shower with rain shower head drenching you in cascading droplets. The second bedroom features a Queen bed, with access to the front facing balcony. The second floor laundry has a full size washer and dryer. The Heated Salt water pool (heated to 84 F. Our condo is located in the heart of Siesta Key Village which has numerous restaurants, bars, shops and a grocery store and is only 1 block from the beach! The best of both worlds as everything you need is within walking distance.Property Description - In the main room you have a queen size murphy bed with a built in couch that folds under the bed. With our small space we needed things that could function in multiple roles and will be out of the way when not in use. On either side of the murphy we have lined the wall with drawers, shelves and hanger space for your stay. Opposite the murphy bed is a modular couch and coffee table. A wall mounted 40" LED LCD TV with YouTubeTV HD service is mounted on an articulating arm and will allow you to watch while seated in the couch or while lying in bed. For temperature control we have a Daikin ductless AC/heat pump with a convenient hand-held remote control with precise temperature control. In the kitchen, there's a GE Speed cook oven which is so much more than just a microwave. You can convect, speedcook, microwave and warm/broil. The 2 drawer fridge and freezer tuck under the quartz countertop and next to that is the combo ventless washer/dryer. Plenty of dishes, cups, pots, pans and a 3 place burner for any sized meal. This unit does not have a dishwasher.In the bathroom we have a full tile shower with a hand-held shower head. A new vanity and cabinet plus a shelf over the shower offer plenty of storage.Outside we have a patio with chairs, table and umbrella to enjoy a meal or company. Cook your meal in the small charcoal grill that is provided as well. There is an outside shower and hose to spray down after your swim in the ocean and a beach cart along with chairs and other beach essentials for you to use during your stay.Location - Our property is located directly within Siesta Village on the beach side which means you are close to the restaurants and bars yet away from all the traffic on Ocean Blvd. In addition, I feel that we have the best beach on Siesta as we are located South of Big Pass and all of the marine traffic passes directly in front of you while you relax on the beach. This is a great space for anyone who does not like to navigate a lot of stairs (there are just a few at the beach entrance) or elevators and would prefer to walk directly to the beach in just a couple of minutes. In terms of location and proximity to the beach, this property is an absolute gem!A friendly note before you book: Casa Mar has a wonderful private beach entrance, but Siesta Key is a wide beach so the first part of the walk to the water includes about 30 meters of deep, soft sand. If you have knee, foot, balance, or mobility issues, this may be difficult to manage. We want every guest to have a comfortable stay, so we recommend considering this carefully before booking.Our studio has a very comfortable queen bed as well as a queen sofa bed that pulls out to accommodate an optional 3rd guest.Our kitchen is fully stocked with essentials for those who would like to cook their own meals. If you fly into Tampa, then it could get more expensive to Uber since it is a good distance away (1.5 hours away).Getting Around Siesta Key:When you get to Siesta Key, there are multiple options to travel from Casa Mar (our condo complex) to the other areas of Siesta Key.There is a free trolley that comes every 20 minutes and it stops at the SCAT bus station right in front of Casa Mar. This trolley will take to you both North and South Villages (that have shops and restaurants and are about 1-2 miles away).The following shuttles are also available.
