The beach is semi-private, accessible only to members of Cornfield Point, which means you might see a few people out there sometimes, especially during peak season (July/August).Air-conditioning is via window units in the bedrooms only. Living areas have quiet oscillating fans. Most find this to be very comfortable because of consistent ocean breeze. The neighborhood association has tennis and basketball courts as well as a big playground.Old Saybrook is a quiet beach town that's very family friendly. It's also known for it's many great dining options.In addition to the beach right in front of the house, there are 3 other beaches within a 10-20 min walk.
