Walk less than a mile to downtown shops along the sandy beach or through the neighborhoods on convenient pedestrian/bike roads. This 2-story home – perfect for multiple families or groups of friends – sleeps 12 guests (4 bedrooms, 6 beds, 2 baths). The sprawling master bedroom features a private balcony, a bonus sitting area with TV, and a pull-out couch. Also upstairs enjoy a living room that opens onto a large deck facing the ocean. The stereo accommodates your classic CDs and cassettes as well as Bluetooth. The downstairs floor has an entertainment-focused living room with an HD TV, gaming (Xbox One), and a DVD player. Premium cable comes with HBO, ESPN and more. There is a full bath are two bedrooms: one king bedroom and another room perfect for kids, with a pull-out sofa and a bunk bed. The Bough House is the perfect choice for your family, large or small. It is private, spacious and beautiful. Located only 2 blocks from Downtown Manzanita and 5 easy blocks to the beach. The grand living/dining area has lots of light and handles a large group comfortably. Enjoy a fabulous meal at the dining room table that seats up to 12, or cozy up on the couches and sit by the gas fireplace. Wall to wall carpeting upstairs and down makes this a perfect shoes-free environment, safe for toddlers and infants. High chair and safety gate on site. Spacious outdoor living space as well, with a wrap-around deck and a 3-burner gas BBQ.Comfortably accommodates up to 14 people. Downstairs, one bedroom is perfect for the kids. It's all here: TV, VCR, DVD, CD player, desk, chalkboards, bean bag chairs, oversized pillows and plenty of space to play. This room holds 2 twin up/ full bottom bunk beds. Then 2 additional stand alone twins. There is even a portable Pack in Play for a baby. Next door to the bunk room, there is another spacious bedroom with a King bed and private entrance. MCA # 1271. Our place is a charming beach house with lots of wood features: oak floors, pine paneling and cedar cathedral ceilings with skylights. There are two private decks separated by a gazebo with a new (2022), luxurious hot tub that can easily accommodate five people. The side deck has a new grill perfect for barbecue. The back deck has recently been rebuilt and the back yard area, though small, is now fully fenced.The private, master bedroom has high ceilings and a new, king sized bed with new, excellent mattress and linens, and an adjoining (external) full bathroom. The second and third bedrooms are on the opposite side of the great room/dining room, making it easy for two families to share the house. The second bedroom has a queen sized bed with an Englander mattress (and internal bathroom) and the third bedroom has a trundle bed (two singles) each with very comfortable mattresses. Both the second and third bedrooms face out to the forest.The house is located at the south end of Manzanita, a quiet residential town with a few great restaurants and shops. We are only half block from one of the most spectacular secluded beaches on Oregon's North Coast. It is bordered on one end by Neahkahnie Mountain and on the other by a State Park. The beach ends in a spit and Nehalem Bay which creates a whole different water landscape than the mighty Pacific Ocean. On the much quieter bay, there is crabbing, seal watching and kayaking. The house is a 15 minute walk (beach or street) from the town of Manzanita, which is very much in the public eye these days.
