From the brand new kitchen to the back deck with stone fireplace, every space is thoughtfully equipped and beautifully decorated. Multiple decks make enjoying the outdoors easy. Nearby attractions include Beech Mountain Resort, Grandfather Mountain, Sugar Mountain, Blowing Rock and Boone. Our indoor gas fireplace is out of order - but the back deck features an awesome one with TV and lots of seating. Our cozy Beech Mountain Chalet is located on a paved, snow plowed, and quiet street only 3 miles from Beech Mountain Ski Resort which is amazing fun in Winter for Skiing and Snow Boarding, and also excellent for downhill mountain biking in Summer, or for simply enjoying the sunsets from 5606 Bar at the peak of Beech Mountain. We are also located in the midst of countless hiking trails and just 1 mile from the Buckeye Lake Recreation area, which is open the public offering tennis courts, a fitness center, playground, and many other amenities. This cabin has a wonderful cozy fireplace, a large wraparound deck with seasonal views, and everything you need for a fun getaway in the moutains with your family and friends. Two private bedrooms are located on the main floor as well as both full bathrooms, the third bedroom is a loft that includes a large upstairs space with 1 queen bed and two twin beds, great for kids! The Kitchen offers a full set of utensils, dishes, and appliances including dishwasher, full size oven, beverage fridge, toaster oven, regular #4 filter style coffee maker, and more. There is a gas grill and outdoor fire pit as well if the weather permits. This is a wonderful place to visit in Summer as the elevation is around 4000 feet and the temperatures are typically very comfortable especially at nights, although the house does have air conditioning for those hotter days too. Beautiful, secluded log cabin. 3 bedroom/2 bath, 1300 square feet. Accommodates 6 adults or a family perfectly. The cabin sits on the back side of Beech Mountain close to the Watuga River drop in, Laurel Creek Waterfall and Watauga Lake. Enjoy two covered porches - one in the front and one in the back. Our cabin offers privacy without total isolation. Easy access off the main road. The large hot tub is private on the rear side of the cabin. We have new outdoor cafe lighting to enjoy while you sit in the hot tub or grill on the gas grill! Everyone loves the fire pit in the evening- it is great for s’mores under the stars! There is a new outdoor table on the front porch to use for playing games, drinking morning coffee or enjoying your meals. The cabin has an easy to use remote control gas fireplace, wifi, cable TV, new washer/dryer, picnic table and stainless steel gas grill. The Master Bedroom is located downstairs and has a king size bed with an attached bathroom. ADA handrails are installed in this tub/shower. The two upstairs bedrooms each have a queen size bed. There is a TV in the living room and one in the master bedroom. The cabin is well maintained and very clean. It is conveniently located near 3 ski resorts all about 30-60 minutes away. It is only a few miles to tube in the Watauga River near Cove Creek. Enjoy Laurel Creek Falls- a short 10 minute drive from the cabin. You may also enjoy a swimming hole in the Watauga River about a half mile from the cabin off Guy Ford Road. We welcome pets (limit 2) and have a $50 pet fee payable with reservations. Please crate your pet(s) if you leave the cabin. We have 1 crate available. Pet bowls are provided along with plenty of room for your pet to play in the yard.Unlike many other cabins, you do not need to start laundry or take away the trash at your departure. Beautifully restored and professionally decorated early 1900’s historic farmhouse style cottage located in the charming Valle Crucis community. A former small B & B, and once owned by the Mast Family, the home is only minutes to downtown Boone and within close proximity of many of the High Country’s top attractions and unique mountain activities. Explore Valle Crucis’s quant shops, visit the original famous Mast General Store, as well as the picturesque Valle Crucis Community Park and the Watauga River for fishing and tubing. Centrally located to Boone, as well as the picturesque towns of Banner Elk, (a short 15 min. drive) and Blowing Rock, (just 20 minutes away). The home includes 3 bedrooms and 3.5 baths, each with its own en suite bathroom. The home features a large Gourmet Kitchen with gas range, granite countertops and a large island great for cooking gourmet meals with counter seating. A laundry room with full size washer/dryer is just off of the kitchen. Adjacent to the spacious kitchen, is a cozy Dining Room that has a large custom-made wood table with seating for seven, and features a period decorative fireplace. The Family Room comprises of a large leather couch and chairs, decorative fireplace, bookcases, game cabinet and a flat screen TV with Bose surround sound for Bluetooth music or for watching your favorite movies or TV’s shows with the included streaming service. Off of the family room, double french doors lead to a covered patio area and garden style backyard that offers two outdoor areas with tables and seating for up to eight. The backyard provides a large circular flagstone fire pit area with seating for six, with nightly timed outdoor tree lighting, great for cooking campfire hot dogs or s’mores. The first floor bedroom features a queen size bed and a en-suite bath with a shower/ tub. A separate powder room is also located on the first floor. Upstairs, the primary bedroom features its own large private deck with outdoor seating for up to five with a gas fireplace table, perfect for stargazing or listening to the seasonal sounds of the Brushy Fork River as you relax in the outdoor space. The suite features a king size bed with a large seating area, a TV, and a large en suite bathroom with double vanities and shower/tub combo. You will love staying at this quaint cabin where you have plenty of peace and privacy. There is a back porch with outside dining and plenty of seating as well as a swing. You will love relaxing with your morning coffee out here while enjoying Mother Nature. The living area is open to the kitchen and dining area with a love seat and a full couch that converts to a queen size bed and an electric fireplace console that hosts a 55" smart TV. The dining table has a leaf that extends to accommodate up to 8 people. The main bedroom is located upstairs and has a king size bed, full bathroom, and walk in closet. The second bedroom has a queen size bed. The third bedroom has a bunk bed twin over full. All bedrooms have smart TVs and new Casper mattresses with high quality bedding and pillows. The kitchen is fully equipped with refrigerator, stove, dishwasher, and microwave. Smaller appliances include a Keurig, drip coffee maker, toaster, and blender. There is high speed internet. There are two sets of corn hole boards, one for adults and one for kids. There are quite a few board games to choose from inside the cabinet that the guest book sits atop. We do suggest picking up groceries on the way in. There are plenty of things to do not too far from the cabin. The Watauga River public access for fishing or exploring is only minutes away. Boone is about a 20 minute drive and has plenty of restaurants and cute shops. Things to do are endless. Appalachian Ski Mountain is about a 35 minute drive. We are pet friendly. Up to 2 dogs 50 pounds and under. Please mention this in the booking. There is a $50 pet fee. Cell service is limited, please make your important phone calls prior to losing service.
