Edgewood golf course is within walking distance. Zephyr Cove tennis club is a ten minute drive and open to the public for a minimal fee. There’s also horseback riding at Zephyr Cove stables, and great hiking and biking trails almost out the back door. Beaches are close by too. Great restaurants and entertainment within 5 minutes from house. There is a Safeway and Riley’s within a mile of the house.- as we live in the mountains, we do get lots of critters, bugs, bats, bears, so we ask our guests to please close screens on doors/windows that are open, and do not leave doors without screens open. For skiers, walk 100 feet to the Ski Shuttle and you are on your way to Stagecoach or Boulder. You can actually walk down to the Boulder lift. “Heavenly Villa” is a cute little 1 bed/2 bath condo, in South Lake Tahoe, (Kingsbury) - sleeps 4, (queen bed, 1 full, 1 twin ) - the bunk room is a “walk thru” room to get to the Master bedroom, therefore more ideal for a family with children (Full bed on bottom/twin on top bunks), close to Heavenly Mountains, Boulder & Stagecoach Lodges, for the best skiing in the winter and awesome hiking/biking trails in the summer. There is the Heavenly shuttle that drop off at lodges and the BlueGo bus service. The condo is a short 10 minute drive down into the Heavenly Village, casinos, beaches, restaurants and grocery stores. There is a local Mini-Mart and Fox & Hound Sports Bar and community pool and hottub within walking distance.The hottub and pool are operated by the Tahoe Village Association, and you are welcome to use them. (Unfortunately we have no control over hours of operation and/or if anything is not working). The best access for skiing in the winter and hiking in the summer and fall. A 1/2 mile away is the community pool and hot tub. There is a gas BBQ for your use on the balcony. This level also has two bedrooms and a bathroom. Upstairs is a large loft area with two sets of bunk beds, one of which has a queen bottom. There is a 55 inch TV and couch here as well.
