Instead, we have a boat dock, 3 kayaks, and an outdoor shower and grill. A public boat launch is just around the corner (permit required). We also have a deck for outdoor dining, gathering with friends, reading a book, watching the birds fly by, or fishing and/or just watching the fish. Our house has a renovated kitchen and bath upstairs, along with 2 bedrooms: one queen and one double. There is another bath downstairs (connected to the upstairs with an outdoor staircase), with the laundry and an extra bed (twin). The downstairs room was a golf cart garage but is now a multi-functional room. Both the laundry and twin bed are elevated due to water fluctuations in the canal, so a step stool is available!
