Welcome to the Railway Lodge, The Cottage is the most recent cabin we’ve added to our large spacious area, we now have 2 cabins close but still very private away. So if your looking to add more guests we also have The Cabin which sleeps 4. The area is secluded yet close to fun attractions. The property is right next to bloody run trout stream so bring your fishing pole and experience the great fishing in the beautiful area. Newly built recently is our pond. We do provide 2 kayaks and a paddle boat on site. The pond is private but is shared with the other cabin guests. The large yard area gives you plenty of room to explore. We do have charcoal grill on site but you need to provide charcoal. We are right next to Spook Cave so definitely a must to take a cave tour! Don’t be alarmed with the trains that come by it actually is pretty cool at night with the lights “ Railway Lodge”Sitting by a warm fire is what it’s all about. Fire wood is also on site for fee. We are close to area attractions like beautiful McGregor , Praire du chien. Pikes Peak, Effigy Mounds if you enjoy hiking. We also offer only for The Cottage guests for a “fee” a full rv hookup site. Come and explore this beautiful area. Nice secluded area for any occasion, family vacation, romantic getaway, Girls/guys trip! We are right by the bloody run trout stream. Plenty of yard for games or roaming. Newly built pond with dock, kayaks, paddle boat and beach area. Pond is shared with The cottage guests only. If you love nature and a warm campfire you will love the Cabin! Don’t be alarmed by the train noise it’s actually pretty neat to see the train go by at night while sitting by the fire. Railway Lodge is a unique area and right next to Spook Cave Campground which has an amazing cave tour! If you are wanting to add more family or friends to your trip , we also have The cottage “ walking distance” which sleeps 4. Still private but an option if you are looking to add more guests. We are still close to many attractions around the area. Many guests have loved the secluded area. The Cabin has a loft bedroom with 2 queen beds, fully stocked kitchen, bathroom with shower, charcoal grill, plenty of seating and a nice covered area. Storage shed with outdoor games, please put away when finished. Same with the kayaks.
