Spending a night at Changdi Inn, nestled in the heart of the historic Hongkeng Tulou Cluster, was truly one of the most unforgettable experiences of my Xiamen trip. The inn is located within a centuries old Hakka earthen building, and the moment you step inside, you will be instantly transported back in time. The stay offers an immersive look into traditional Hakka culture and architecture, surrounded by thick earthen walls, wooden beams, and antique details that speak volumes of the past. What mak it extra special was meeting the friendly innkeeper, a 6th generation descendant of the family that built and preserved this Tulou. He shared stories and local insights making the whole experience even more meaningful. The room was simple yet clean and comfortable, blending rustic charm with basic modern comforts. I got to enjoy authentic Hakka meals, lovingly prepared and bursting with homestyle flavor, perfect after a day of exploring. Waking up in the peaceful village setting, watching the locals go about their daily lives, and hearing the birds chirping outside, it's a rare, soulful escape from the city.

1. My stay at Yongding Coffee Garden B&B/Homestay/ Guest House was absolutely pleasant and memorable. 2. The decor displays aesthetic excellence with a glorious rooftop garden as its crown jewel , complemented by vintage furniture and collections. 3。 The most impressive attribute is the overwhelmingly warm hospitality extended by the owners: Mi & Fei , as well as the staff members: Ms Wang , Ms Dongdong and Ms Lingling. They are exceptionally kind ,friendly,amiable, caring, considerate , ever willing to help people and make us feel at home. 4。 The most fascinating attraction is both Mi & Fei are passionate coffee lovers . Lots of coffee varieties are available at the Coffee Garden Cafe ( Coffee Town ) Supreme bliss is to savor the incredibly distinctive and aromatic coffee, be it fruity, nutty, woody, floral,syrupy, herbal,creamy,crisp, mellow, robust, delicate, intense, lingering or invigorating. 5。Besides being connoisseurs of coffee they are also aficionados of culinary art. 6。 Mi& Fei are diligent, efficient, knowledgeable , sociable and multitalented . Their administrative skills together with an effective team of cooperative staff contribute significantly to their brilliant success. 7. Mi & Fei extended their caring, splendid , extraordinary and heartwarming hospitality at my farewell lunch. The delicious, appetizing and savory spaghetti was decorated with a mini Malaysian flag and enriched with my favorite Malaysian Sambal spicy sauce. ( I am a Malaysian) ! The pleasant surprise has indelibly touched my heart . Last but not least,I'm grateful beyond words for the yummy breakfast: French toast. Thanks to the enthusiastic hospitality of Mi & Fei YD Coffee Garden B&B/Homestay/Guesthouse was home away from home for me during my stay of eight days.

More than a Stay - A Warm Family Welcome in the Heart of the Tulou! From the moment we arrived, we were treated not as tourists, but as guests of the family. The hosts – the Father, Mother, and their Son – are the soul of this place. They are incredibly friendly and go so far above and beyond to make your stay comfortable and special. The Son was our main point of contact and coordinated everything for us with great patience. He arranged our visit to the magnificent 振成楼 (Zhencheng Lou, the ”Prince of Tulou”), with Mother sharing fascinating stories about its history that you won't find in guidebooks. But where this family truly shines is in their genuine care. As overseas visitors, we were completely unfamiliar with local transportation and booking systems for our next destination. The Son sat down with us, helped us navigate the Chinese online systems, booked our train tickets, and gave us detailed instructions for the rest of our journey. He spent a significant amount of his own time to ensure we were set up for success, which was a gesture we will never forget. The homestay itself is a wonderful experience. The room was clean and comfortable. Decent simple home-cooked breakfast with the family was priceless. In summary: · Hospitality: Unmatched. The family's kindness is the #1 reason to stay here. · Authenticity: A true Tulou living experience. · Convenience: Perfect location for exploring the nearby Tulou clusters. · Value: Worth every penny for the personal service and care. Highly recommended.

オーナーはとても優しい人でした！ 宿はエアコンがありませんでしたが、扇風機があり、夜は意外にぐっすり眠れました。外国人が土楼の中に泊まれる宿で、すぐ近くに承启楼や他の土楼もあるのでアクセスも便利でした。私達は龙岩站から公共バスで行きましたが承启楼前で降りたら宿までは歩いて5分くらいで着きます。泊まれる土楼は他にもありますが、ここのオーナーは本当に優しく、旅の相談を色々アドバイスをしてくれました。とてもおすすめです！つぎもまたここに泊まりたいです。

Các phòng hướng sông thật sự tuyệt vời! Cửa sổ kính từ sàn đến trần nhà tạo nên một bức tranh sống động, khung cảnh sông Ngũ Giang và đường chân trời thành phố hiện ra như một bức tranh chuyển động. Ban ngày, dòng sông lấp lánh, còn ban đêm, ánh đèn neon hai bên bờ sông lung linh huyền ảo. Thưởng thức đồ uống bên cửa sổ tạo nên một bầu không khí vô song. Các phòng được thiết kế trang nhã, với hệ thống điều khiển thông minh cho phép điều khiển ánh sáng và rèm cửa chỉ bằng một chạm – một điều tuyệt vời dành cho những ai thích sự tiện lợi. Ga trải giường mềm mại và thoải mái, phòng tắm thông minh có bồn tắm cỡ lớn, hoàn hảo cho một buổi ngâm mình thư giãn xua tan mệt mỏi sau một ngày dài. Hồ bơi vô cực trên sân thượng là một bất ngờ thú vị; bơi lội trong khi ngắm nhìn khung cảnh sông hùng vĩ và chứng kiến ​​hoàng hôn tuyệt đẹp vào buổi tối chắc chắn sẽ trở thành hiện tượng trên mạng xã hội. The hotel was perfectly located across the road from the Prince Tolou and just a short walk to the evening bon fire show. I loved the country feel about this location! The owner helped arrange a driver for me to collect me from the train, drive me to a number of locations, and return me to the train station the next day. She arranged tickets to the bon fire show, took me there on the back of her bike and offered to pick me up (I chose to walk throigh the little dark streets because it was a lovely evening). She invited me to sit and drink tea with her and her friends, and made me feel like part of the family. As a westerner, the bed was a little hard for me, but i was very comfortable in my room. A must see area of China!

It was a great experience staying at Xihu Hotel in Longyan! I upgraded my stay to a very nice spacious quiet room with wc, shower and washing machine, it was recently renovated and super comfortable, perfect for having a good rest after visiting the Fujian Tulou and the historic city of Tingzhou. The hotel is located very close to the train station and has plenty of options for places to eat nearby. Qui Suchen is a great host, she really wants you to feel like home in Longyan! Thank You sister Qui Suchen for making my stay in Longyan memorable!
