Lake view and lakes access home , the home has gorgeous views of the lake from most of the rooms. Just a two minute walk to the lake. Home is located in a beautiful older neighborhood. It’s on a quiet cove that is perfect to paddle board on. We have two paddle boards we provide for your use. With 3 bedrooms on the main floor and two bedrooms plus a large additional living room in the basement you will have plenty of room for your entire family or group. Will park 5 cars easily. Access to the home is very easy ,with no steep driveways. Huge front porch overlooking the lake. 3.9 miles from downtown hayesville. 13 miles from downtown Hiawassee. Two of the three bedrooms upstairs have beautiful views of the lake as well as the living room and kitchen. We also have a patio in the front of the house that is perfect for grilling. Additionally there are 2 sleeper sofas.On the main floor is the kitchen with a large dining table, a living room with a floor to ceiling stone fireplace, 2 bedrooms and 2 baths and a large covered back porch. Relax on the back porch in the swing or rockers as the burgers are cooking on the grill.On the lower level is the rec room with a pool table and basketball hoop, 2 bedrooms and 1 bath. When you aren't out on the lake, try your hand at a game of indoor hoops or pool. If you are looking to spend some time boating on the lake and then a family friendly home to spend your time off the lake then it is time to check into Lake Side Serenity.Please note - the driveway to this house is gravel and steep. A four-wheel drive is not required but a vehicle with good traction will assist in getting in and out of the driveway. Cell service is limited. Beautiful lakefront home on pristine Lake Chatuge nestled in small cove in between Hiawassee and Hayesville. This home offers a private covered dock with safe swimming as there is very little boat traffic and waves. The lot and driveway are flat so no 4-wheel drive needed and there is a garage for easy parking. The back yard is flat with grass for games for the entire family! There is a short brick path from the house to the dock. There is a fabulous fire pit near the dock for campfires, storytelling, and making s’mores! On the main level, there is a living room with a gas fireplace and a fully equipped kitchen to prepare a large family meal to be served in the dining room which seats 8. The master suite is located on the main level with a king sized comfy tempurpedic bed, flat screen TV, large bathroom, his and hers separate closet spaces, and direct access to the back porch. There are 2 other bedrooms on the main level with queen beds that share a bathroom across the hall. If you must work while at the lake, there is an office with a desk and beautiful view of the lake and mountains. High speed internet/ WIFI/live streaming TV provided. The large upstairs porch is the highlight of the house with a swinging loveseat, dining table, gas grill, and stunning views. On the terrace level, the family room has a wood burning fireplace and an extra-large couch for family movies that also contains a pull-out full-sized bed. There is one bedroom with twin beds if the kids want their own play area. The terrace level features an interchangeable pool/ping pong table as well as a card/poker table. It also has a 2nd kitchen, fridge, sink and dining table so you don’t need to run back upstairs for snacks. If you decide to bring a boat with you there is room on the dock with buoys. There are several excellent boat rentals in the area including Boundary Waters, Young Harris Water Sports, and Lake Chatuge Marine. We have multiple life vests for you to use while boating and swimming. Other provided activities include cornhole, bocce ball, frisbee, and football.Check out Bell Mountain for breathtaking views, Brasstown Bald- the highest point in Georgia, Jackrabbit Mountain Recreation Area for hikes and mountain biking (less than a mile), Chatuge Dam, and many wineries in the area!
