A bit old style but nice and large room. Breakfast was good.

Nothing wrong with the hotel, but ******* page is a bit outdated. Good location and the front desk staff were friendly and helpful. However, it was unclear that a bar or a restaurant would not be available on the ******* page. No tea or coffee making facilities, I understand it was changed to a bed and breakfast sometime in the last year (if longer then I don't know why they have not removed the blackboard with tonight's specials). The seasonal outdoor natural swimming pond had fish living in it and was overgrown. Photographs show cable cars running past the hotel, this has now been closed, I would suggest for at least a year. We did feel like we were in the way when we played cards downstairs. The shared balcony was a security risk, I kept closing the windows to keep the room secure (and smokers air out) but the cleaner opened them, and as it was next to a door with no 'lock' - only a lift up mechanism, there was nothing to stop someone putting their arm through the window to open the door. No safe in the room. I understand that Austria has recently implemented an indoor smoking ban, perhaps the hotel should consider implementing no smoking on the shared balcony areas. All of our belongings smelled of cigarette smoke for the next 3 days even things that we kept in the bathroom.

Lovely escape. We stayed only one night, but it was very charming. I didn’t see an elevator, so if you need assistance you might want to call and see what accessibility accommodations they have. There is a pond in front that you can swim in, a pool table, and foos ball.

Perfect off season place for a large group. We hosted a family reunion for relatives in Europe and America. Stephan was wonderful (as was Patrick) and the facility is perfectly located for what activities we planned. We highly recommend. Vielen Dank.

I have been traveling Europe/UK for a month now. This is the worst most expensive places I've stayed. Dirty literally poop on the TP, outdated, torn furniture, loud, filthy carpet, inaccurate information from front desk.

They even folded our clothes that were left on the bed Constant hot water Toilet roll and shower jel provided Your room key fit the rear hotel door to get into the hotel when reception is closed Lovely scenic view if facing the front of the hotel Bathroom towels provided Staff very friendly. Welcoming and helpful The free bus to either innsbruck town or to the ski station is 100meters down a hill and runs every 10 minutes untill 7.30pm Breakfast is provided if notified in advance @ 14 euros PP per day. Free WiFi throughout the hotel Room decor and wooden furniture is nice and fitting for the environment Cons Poor heating in room, we had 1 radiator which was always warn there was no termpature dial to turn heating up or down Sauna cost 10 euros per person per visit BBC world news and CNN were only English speaking channels. Foreign channels no subtitles available Major building work close by they start work @6am ( this is not the fault of the hotel) but wakes you up. No fridge . We left our drinks outside on the balcony to keep cold. I also brought food from thr UK which I had to throw away due to no fridge Hotel has no bar, despite the outside hotel sign advertising bar. Hotel is 100meters up a steep hill from the bus stop and 200 meters to the village of Igls where there are a few places to eat, shop and hire your ski equipment, but is hardwork walking up this hill when you have been sking alday. The hotel room door does not lock, you need to use your key to lock the door from the inside, unless you ask for a second key, this could be a safeguarding concern as if someone wanted to stay in the room and the other person went out with the key, the door would remain unlocked, if you lock the door from the outside, you can't open it from the inside. I booked this hotel Purley for the ski in ski out, unfortunately when we arrived at the hotel I was told that this is not the case, the management having been trying to let the travel company know about this but stated they have had no response. The manager was very welcoming and helpful, and stated he changed our room to face the snowed mountains which was nice.if you want breakfast you have to notify him the previous evening and will be charged 14 euros per person per day, we declined. The manager emailed us the link for free bus travel to the ski station and into innsbruck town. This hotel should not be advertised as a Bed and Breakfast. Breakfast here is an optional extra, with an additional £300 a week expected for a family of four. No bar, no food, poor facilities and bedding that can only be described as pure punishing. The staff are friendly and the place is clean but my family will most certainly not be returning.
