Check in was very easy and the staff were friendly and attentive. Our first time staying in San Diego and we’d definitely book the same hotel again.

It is important for hotels to maintain a high level of cleanliness and sanitation, especially during these times where hygiene is of utmost importance. Guests expect and deserve a clean and healthy environment to stay in, and it is the hotel's responsibility to provide that.
Finding a poop stain on the toilet seat is not only disgusting but also a huge concern for guests' health and safety. It is unacceptable and should not have happened in the first place. The hotel should take immediate action to thoroughly clean and disinfect the room to prevent the spread of germs and bacteria.
In addition to hygiene issues, the service at the hotel was also lacking. As a guest, it is reasonable to expect a certain level of professionalism and attentiveness from the staff, especially at the front desk where guests check-in and have their first impression of the hotel. However, this was not the case during my stay.
I hope that the hotel management takes my feedback seriously

horrible area overpriced motel not worth more than 90bucks never book again this place ****** it was in a dangerous place not safe to walk around at all in public very scary i would never pay to waste so much money on this garbage dump there were bugs in the room

The room was dirty and there was music blasting until 2am in the morning couldn't sleep and the hotel staff did nothing about it

The hotel is undergoing construction, so the overall condition is that it looks downshodden in some areas, and perfectly fine in others.
The area around the hotel is busy, and there are several homeless people around, but none of that impacts the hotel itself. It's pretty quiet, clean in the room, and the staff is great.
Comfortable pillows in the rooms too!
