Pre stay: not reactive to communication and confirmation we wanted to upgrade our room, paying price difference, if available. Stay: the location and the beach are wonderful and probably justify the price for what the beach front and garden room offer, i.e little. While there is aircon and hot water (in the shower only), there is NO closet or shelve where to put your cloths. Only a few hangers, which is useless for most cloths brought to a beach. Only one bedside table and lamp. No chair or table in the room (this is valid for beach front rooms. It seems hilltop rooms are larger and have closet and 2nd bedside table) and of course no TV and no fridge. Internet accessible in the dining area only. The staff is pleasant and efficient. The food OK by Western standards. Breakfast OK. Very poor bar selection though; I went to the adjacent community to buy some liquor... But again, it is paradise when on the beach if you have gotten up early enough to literally grab one of the 6 sunbeds available and you are lucky not being surrounded by a noisy multi children tribe, which happened to us fortunately only the last 2 days of our stay.

From the airport we were already greeted by the resort manager Migs. He was very accommodating and assisted us with our transfer to the resort. This is a rustic resort with a spectacular beach front just right outside your door. We stayed at C1 and had the best view of the beach. The staff there are all nice special mention to Kim and Gel who served us our meals during our stay. They have a big portion of delicious food prepared by their chef. The rooms are clean, the beach front clean. They have excellent customer service, food prices are alao reasonable. I highly recommend this resort to people who are looking for a relaxation place where they can be disconnected to the rest of the world. Internet is not as fast, i experienced no signal at all but will only get a few minutes of surfing then gone again. You can go kayaking, island hopping to gigantes island cabugao, bantigue sandbar too.

The island itself is a paradise. It's like a utopian place that seemed impossible to experience. This place will provide you restful sleep and intimate immersion with the nature. I also realized that the great pearl of the island are the staff who were very hospitable and passionate in providing authentic and magnanimous service. They treated me and my family with utmost service. They interacted with us as if we're not tourists but family. I express my profound gratitude to Sir Migs, Glory, Alea, Kim, Jekoy, and other staff whose names I hardly recall for letting my family experience sicogon to the fullest. They really embodied their innate ilonggo personality "malalambing". It was not an escape from reality, but a return to reality.

We came here just for the day, but we immediately regretted not staying there! The food was great, service impeccable and the property is very clean. Their manager Migs even took the time out to check on us and tell us stories about the property. The location is beautiful. It could’ve been an Aman resort in a different lifetime - hard to get to and beautiful setting. The waters are crystal clear. My daughter has so much fun playing by the shore. We definitely will be coming back here in the near future.
