Very basic property - was charged an additional fee after our stay for god knows what considering we were there only for the night and left early in the morning- no communication about the fee either - wouldn’t recommend as by the feedback it seems they do this regularly- much better accommodation and cheaper just a few minutes up the road

This property suited our needs very well. We needed a convenient stop-over motel after a long day of driving. Room was well equipped and clean and comfortable.

I enjoyed the three night stay as did my travel companions in another room. It is not perfect but it was ideal for what we wanted. Quiet, friendly and close to a number of scenic locations.

I arrived after dark, they didnt hear reception bell, needed to ring them.
Pet friendly, cat restricted to bathroom, but after my shower I had to wipe my feet before getting into bed so floors dirty, but everything else clean. Oh need plates, cutlery and mugs only so need your own. Not big issues for the price and convenience. Nice lady, late check out time.

Horrible experience from start to finish. Would give it no stars if I could.
Was quoted one price, turned up and was told that I needed to pay extra for my dogs, which I was told were fine before that point. Front desk lady was incredibly rude, so rude that I left crying.
To top things off there was bed bugs or fleas in the bed. Horrible bites all over! Dirty room with dog/cat hair everywhere!
Poor service will never stay at this place again, greedy old lady. Creepy, unsafe vibes.

Set well back from the Bruce Highway and our unit was facing away from the highway so traffic noise was minimal - acually quite peaceful looking out over the fields.
Finding pet-friendly motel units is becoming very difficult even though there are a lot of people travelling with their pets. I can understand why, but if an an extra charge for pets is to be made it should be specified when making the booking.
A couple of plates, bowls, knives forks and spoons would have made life easier. Eating our cereal out of a coffee mug with the one-and-only teaspoon certainly extended our normal brekky time!

I've been here a few times now but last time in Jan 23.. I got stuck here on my way home to Ayr, Qld due to Bruce Highway being closed due to Monsoon rain.. Julie was great letting me tell her day by day if staying an extra night.. Cas the cleaner was very helpful too with keeping me up to date with the weather and making sure I was conformable and had everything I needed.. Rooms and price are great
