A positive surprise! Really nice hotel with good location. Quiet and beautifully renovated room. There were also free earplugs but we didn't need them. I especially liked the black tap and other black things in the bath room. Lovely staff with local dialect.

180 euro for a night is way too expensive for this hotell. Room is ok and clean. Bathroom very small and was not cleaned well. Way overpriced, reasonable pricing should be around 100 euros a night. Breakfast was ok, nothing bad to say here. Nothing positive either. Overall, i would avoid this hotell and bok something more reasonable

We got nice quiet room from third floor street side. Some minor noise from street was there, but nothing disturbing. Staff was very friendly and we got room very early and room was clean as it should be. Interior is modern in the rooms and good looking. Breakfast was ok, nothing special but all what you need. Hotel do have free parking at courtyard, maybe not enough space if hotel is full? Only down side was muzak which was playin in all corridors. It was very similar as in airplane safety features video. Little strange solution.

Parking space in the back yard was full and had to search a place from nearby streets. We arrived at 5 pm but still had to wait for our room. Cleaning had not been done properly. The below bar was open till 3.30 AM and we could hear the music clear and loud in our 3rd floor room. Not a hotel for people who would like to sleep at night.

This is typical small town hotel in Finland. Nothing fancy but not too bad either.
Once they finish renovations in the summer 2023 it's definitely best hotel to stay in Iisalmi. Other options are strange hippy hotel and some really worn down places.

I was in transit journey in Iisalmi and staying Sokos Hotel Koljonvirta. As a member of Sokos Hotel Group it was safe pick for me. I arrived to Hotel by car and Hotel had parking area in back Yard and it was free. From parking area you can enter directly to Hotel reception. Check-in was fast and service was friendly. My room was spacious and view was to ”main road” of Iisalmi. However I didn’t hear any noise from traffic. Hotel doesn’t have pool but nice sauna area in top floor. Hotel has separate sauna areas for men and women. Breakfast was basic. Nothing special but included basic scandinavian breakfast ingredients. Overall my stay was very good and I can recommend Hotel to all visitors in Iisalmi.

Iisalmi on mukavan pieni kaupuki. Hotelli Koljonvirta on keskeisellä paikalla - joka paikkaan on lyhyt matka. Sekä hotellista ja kaupungista jäi hyvät muistot.
