Julian Forest Suites

we have came for 11nites family 4, house keeping is really non existent i had to speak with manager about our room not being cleaned, in the 11 days our floors seen 1 brush and no mopping and bathrooms where never cleaned. food is atually ok not amazing but defo better than what we have been to else where in turkey, access into towns is so easy and cheap but was too warm to really go in. i did find the staff at reception really good and did help and where nice enough entertainment team where good they made sure to hi to everyone and have a chat around the pool when they could. cindy is lovely and really nice greta with the kids from what i seen also, gookee is always really nice he made time to speak to us. only thing i found was the music at nite at entertainment could be turned down slightly it was bouncing just too much. it’s called the jungle for a reason ha!! beasties everywhere i have never had a bite in my life abroad and i have done here lol bees are bad between 420-830pm

A hotel to rival all others 1. Sunbed dash to rival supermarket sweep Not enough sun beds to cater for all hotel residents. Hotel policy is: “You must not reserve sunbeds before 08:00 and any towels laid out before 08:00 will be removed and taken to reception.” This is a lie. If you haven’t reserved a bed at 6am, you won’t get one. 2. Feeding times rival the zoo The behaviour of residents at meal times is embarrassing, resembling feral animals whilst waiting for the all inclusive to open. We actually left the site to eat in Icmeler as we were that disgusted by the behaviour. This is supposed to be the more reserved and family oriented of the two Julian hotels in the area. I dread to think what Club Julian (the more lively) is like. 3. WiFi to rival McDonalds 4. Not enough bar staff, queues in the evening rival Alton Towers, minus the thrills Good points: - One or two staff members made the stay bearable - Entertainment team do their best - No complaints with the food (once you’re in)

We have just returned from having spent 2 weeks in Julian Forest. We booked the holiday through easyjet holidays. Upon arrival the man on reception was very nice and helpful, happy for a chat and we spent a while talking to him about my daughters Welsh name that turns out is also a Turkish name. There was a slight miscommunication with easyjet and the hotel, we had upgraded to a 2 bedroom suite, but the hotel did not have this information. They did resolve it and move us to a 2 bedroom suite, and said that they would confirm with easyjet in the morning or we would be charged, but this was done the following day and reception spoke to my husband to let him know that it was all okay. The room was large and consisted of 1 room with a double bed and en suite bathroom, a lounge, another bedroom with 2 single beds, a bathroom and a balcony. There was a fridge and kettle in the lounge area, I wouldn't say it was plush, but it was clean and comfortable, showers were great, and it was cleaned every day. We were in block B which is the quieter side overlooking the quiet pool. The food was excellent, we enjoyed every meal, and I have one quite fussy child. There was always lots to choose from, and it was so tasty. The main restaurant was lovely, and the snack bar was also really nice. I found there was some basics that would be there every day such as chips, rice, noodles etc, then there would be other things that were different each day, in the night there was always chicken curry as an option, but my husband told me it was one of the best chicken curries he had tasted. The selection was lovely and we never felt that we were bored with the food. The pools were lovely, very clean, cold but started to warm the longer we were there, there were staff cleaning all the time. We spent most of our time in the quieter pool, which is block b, the entertainment team spend most of the time by block A pool, but do come around to tell you if there are any activites that the children may want to join in on the other side. Block B pool had different depths that my children liked. The main pools were quite deep at 1.2 m at the shallow end, but there are small children's pools on each side also. There were slides on each side that were open for certain times during the day. Entertainment was great, the team were absolutely fantastic, they were doing activities throughout the day, then in the night it was children's disco, bingo and another show/quiz/karaoke etc. There were not any external people doing shows, it was all done by the entertainment team. There were kids clubs during the day and there was a kids club with different activites in the evening that you could pay for. My children never go to kids club but my youngest insisted in the last few days that she was going as she loved the staff so much. Brilliant food great staff great but this place is shutting down don't know why lovely setting not far from bars and restaurants I would go back tomorrow but unfortunately we can't so we will have to find somewhere else wish we didn't we enjoyed it

Awful experience with TUI child that was in kids club at night got out and sustained a head injury near a huge water pool… this could have been an accident or it could have been an attempted abduction or attack - not one phone call to check on child…. The Rep was awful and said accidents happen but do not know if it was an accident 9.30 at night during a power outage - we got angry at her lack of concern then got a written warning… who would not be angry that a 7 year old child was injured without any explanation, the Rep breached GPDR by showing us another child’s full details and totally disregarded the event and threatened to throw 2 disabled adults another carer and 2 small children on the street without flights. This Is a serious event - made a complaint and telephoned TUI with no response, tried TUI shop - no help at all - we will take this to the ombudsman as we are furious of TUIs lack of concern for this incident- she could have drowned or been abducted… now closed ranks with the hotel. Holiday miss sold as no Jacuzzi or al a carte resultant as advertised… faeces on walls of toilet, dangerous broken areas round the pool promised care with dietary allergy - no knowledge of coeliac disease - offered things obviously not GF Awful hotel awful experience and awful aftercare

So currently hear at moment and the building has had no electricity for the last 3 hours complete darkness. Been a complete shambles since we got hear. Been hear for 7 days already and got another 4 to go just want to come home now. Rooms the most basic you will ever get our bath is more like a sink absolutely disgraceful. Since been hear our room has been changed once. Bar staff very rude only give out ice to people that tip them,we came for the entertainment staff but they left Tuesday so the sister hotel has had come and help out,the place just needs a good clean,if you want a sunbed make sure your up around 4am as you won't get a bed.
