Mirage World Hotel - All Inclusive

The hotel was close to the beach only a 5 minute walk, the amenities were great a range of pools to choose from. The entertainment and spa staff were amazing and very attentive. The evening shows and cocktails were the best part of our holiday, each night there was bingo and live shows to watch. We had a spa first day of our holiday and they checked on every day since. However , the food was average, we went out for food on our last night and it was much better than anything in the hotel. The room was uncomfortable, the balcony view was suppose to be a pool view but was houses on the street where we could see the rubbish from the main restaurant. When we first checked in the hotel, the reception staff were very rude , we asked for a double bed and they just pushed the two beds together and were rude to us. The shower didn’t work properly and the water pressure was rubbish. Claimed the maid service was everyday, the maid showed up twice. We ran out of toilet paper, we rang reception and no one showed up for hours. We ended up taking a few rolls from the maid trolley after waiting 4 hours. Would stay within İçmeler again as the locals were very friendly and attentive but not the hotel due to the room situation, the food and some of the staff.

I have been to marmaris for the last 10+ years and usually always stay in marmaris but fancied a change coming to icemeler and we are so glad we chose this hotel. This was by far one of the best hotels we have stayed in in Turkish, everyone in the group were all so pleased with our stay and the hotel as a whole. The only downfall for the hotel that we could point out was the sunbed situation people putting towels on sunbeds during the night then not using them for the full days and then people with families struggle getting a sunbed. So I think the managemenr team need to have s look at this problem and hopefully resolve it. As we arrived at the hotel we were greeted by a lovely young man Yusuf he was the bellboy that took our luggage to our rooms, he gave us so much helpful information on a arrival and lots more during our stay. Nothing was ever too much for Yusuf and everytime we needed help with anything he was more than happy to help with three biggest smile on his face, he is such a hard worker and very pleasant to all the customers, a few custiners we had spoken to during our stay also mentioned how helpful and pleasant young man he was, he such a big asset to the hotel. The food was very good and plenty variety every night even thi could be a little repetitive there's slesys something for everyone. The rooms were cleaned regularly and the cleaners were also very nice and happy throughout her stsy. Pool area was lovely always clean, we will definetly be looking at coming back next year. We arrived at around 4 am, on arrival the reception area looked great and staff were friendly, unfortunately this all changed once we were shown to our rooms, we had booked 2 rooms, one for my elderly parents and one for myself and my 12 year old daughter. The rooms were probably the worst rooms I've ever seen, they were dated, filthy and the bathroom was covered in grime/ mould. There were exposed wires and my dad experienced an electric shock when trying to turn the lamp on. We went straight to reception and asked for new rooms, we were informed to go back at 10 am. When we went back we were offer an option of 2 different rooms but meant sharing one room or paying additional costs. The management attitude was very poor. The room we agreed on didn't work at all, my parents ended up having to sleep on sofas whilst my daughter and I shared a bed. The air-conditioning unit was directing above the bed which resulted in us being cold overnight even on the lowest setting. The temperature was to hot not to have it on. There was only one mirror in the room and no electrical points near by which meant making getting ready in the evening difficult to do hair. The bathroom door was black glass which meant absolute no privacy when using the bathroom. The mini fridge was covered in mould, and there were only 3 coat hangers for 4 people. The rooms weren't cleaned daily and there were no fresh towels. The restaurant was very chaotic, the food was hit and miss, food in the main restaurant was mainly cold but from the grill was fresh and hot. There is plenty of selection but very repetitive. Bar staff were amazing and very friendly. The pool area was lovely. However, the sun lounger wars not so much, no where enough sun beds. Pools were cleaned Lovely coffee bar and again friendly staff. Entertainment at night very good and enjoyable.

The hotel is ok. I wouldn’t call it a 4*. More 3* in my opinion. It needs refurbishment (see pictures). WiFi was very poor except at the reception. Food was just ok. Smoking is allowed everywhere on the resort so it was very hard for us being none smokers. But the main reason I would not go back or recommend this hotel to anyone is the reception staff. They’re the rudest people I’ve ever met on a holiday. They were so unwelcoming my family was tempted to move to another hotel in the middle of our holiday. The instances of their poor service would be too many to write here. I also witnessed them treating other customers with the same attitude of contempt so at least they weren’t just picking on my family. That’s their MO. Just thinking of it gives me bad memories of what should’ve been a great holiday.

Hotel is nice but let's it self down first impressions count and reception are not very welcoming also only ever seems to be one on slow check in. Also lack of security on site as well rooms are fine did the job. Food far to repetitive and struggled to get a seat restaurant is to small for the hotel can't handle it again see this when shows on not enough seats pools are fine but beware floors are slippy when wet at best hotel is a 3 star but is ideal base ri explore and does the job for the price

Second Visit – Even Better Than the First! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ This was our second time at Mirage World Hotel and it did not disappoint. The entertainment staff were absolutely brilliant and kept everyone engaged throughout our stay. We upgraded to a deluxe room this year and it was well worth it – spacious, comfortable, and the air conditioning worked perfectly, which made our stay so much more enjoyable. The food was really nice with a good variety each day, and for fussier eaters there were always nuggets, chips, and pizza available every evening. Overall, another fantastic holiday and we will definitely be returning again next year!
