Wild Rover Huacachina

Without doubt the noisiest place I've ever stayed in my life, maybe because I was here on a Saturday night when the party went until 2am In the double room I had there was no cupboard or anywhere to hang anything. The shower did have hot water and was a decent size.

I stayed at Wild Rover for 3 nights. Definitely a party hostel. The place to go if you’re looking for a fun time but maybe not if you’re trying to get some sleep. Lots of activities and free drinks. Jose at the front desk took great care of me, helping me with any questions I had.

Very nice place and super nice staff. Especially Jose. He was super funny and helpful in any case! Can highly recommend to everyone to visit this place and make your own experience………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………..

Nice party hostel, José was especially helpful in showing me my room and telling me of all the activities there is to do here definitely recommend staying here. Has a large pool with loads of activities and drinking games and something on every day for everyone to get involved

Very much a party place. The problem I had was not with the hostel but with the atm right beside their front door, three steps to inside the hotel. I tried to withdraw money using my debit card and it seemed to go through and then a notice on the screen said it was cancelled. No money came out. But the money was withdrawn from my bmo bank account in Canada right away. I did send a message to Bmo. Then talked to the front desk staff who said yes it is right by their hostel but it is not their problem. I agreed it is not their atm but they have a responsibility to be protective of their clientele. The bad reputation of the atm with be associated with Wild Rover.

This is definitely a party hostel which is great if you love to party. We had one "wild" night (not later than 1.30pm though because we are old) and two nights just dancing and having a couple of drinks. They do happy hour and cocktail making classes. There was also a bbq every night for around £7 equivalent which was really tasty. We did a fun cooking class while we were here and enjoyed playing table tennis and dipping in the pool. The staff were a lot of fun and helpful. We were greeted by Gustaud who was great, very informative and friendly. The bar is also fairly cheap and does some good food. I would say the only downfall of this hostel is it is so beyond loud in the rooms until 2am, then you can still here faint music from the club at 5am. We were warned about this and knew what we were signing up for, but we still wanted some sleep. So if you are in any way sensitive to noise don't come here!
