We stayed as a family with two teenagers for six nights. The hotel is approximately 30 mins from the airport and cost around 35euro to get there. For your return journey you need to go to the reception the day before to order a taxi to the airport as taxis are not readily available in Cala Vadella. There is a bus service that runs hourly in to San Josep until around 2020, you do though need a mask to go on the bus. We had a. two bedroom apartment, it was bright, clean and spacious, had everything we needed in it and was cleaned everyday. There were also two bathrooms as well which was a bonus, The beds could have done with some better pillows but other than that it was absolutely perfect. It had excellent air conditioning. The hotel has a small well stocked supermarket. You might struggle to cook a full meal if you wanted to , but if you are happy with baguettes, pasta etc then its fine for that. There is another supermarket the other end of the beach that had a really good bakery but in terms of other goods the one at the hotel is better. It also stocks inflatables etc for the kids and big kids! Pool was clean, warm and plenty big enough, there is a small baby pool also The resort is a few steps from a very beautiful beach. There are loungers available but at 10 euro a day as a family of four we did not use these, the beach does get busy but not horribly so. You could rent out boats, jet skis etc we went on a paddle board which was 20euro for an hour and then a kayak which was 15 euro for an hour, which I thought was reasonable. There are some nice caves etc and good snorkelling if that is your thing. There are a number of nice restaurants around the resort, you could get a decadent evening meal for around 15 euro per person (without drinks) (less at lunchtime) The restaurant at the resort was lovely and good value for money (Thai was delicious ) but there were other options other than Thai - we had some great meals there. Breakfast was OK , usual sort of stuff pastries, bacon, egg, etc . My only criticism on the food front was there isn't much of a kids menu at the hotel (only one or two items) so if I was family with younger children it would put me off eating there in the evenings. The resort itself is lovely, quiet, clean and stunning and I felt very safe there. Just a couple of bits of information that may help others - Taxis are scarce, you need to pre book. There is no pharmacy in the resort - the nearest one is in San Josep, so make sure you have all the basics with you that you need. If you are a smoker there is no tobacco shops (again it's in San Josep) so better to get before you go from the airport or a tabac on route . I would 1000% go again and generally speaking I don't go back to the same place twice. The hotel is a little gem, in a prime position, with lovely friendly staff so if you are hesitating to book, don't , you won't regret it
