Mondrian Ibiza

Lovely hotel compared to the rates we had. Rooms, hotel, service, sea all were amazing. Definitely would recommend to others

We had a fabulous stay, the room was perfect for 3 (sofa bed for 3rd person) with plenty of room. Gorgeous view on to the beach. Breakfast was included and excellent selection available. Yoga class with Elena was great, would be good to have daily classes available. Gym was good. Loved the 4 swimming pools too. Reception staff (Magda) and concierge staff all super helpful and friendly as were the bar/pool staff. Well located for trip to Ibiza town and would recommend both Cass Piedra and Wild Asparagus restaurants

Overall a good hotel. Breakfast is amazing, looked forward to it every morning. We have been going to Ibiza for years and it’s not known for being good value for money but just thought the food and drinks at the hotel were overpriced. A lot of people were getting drinks and snacks from the local supermarket rather than buying from the hotel. People can pay to use the hotel and the Bali beds for the day so they are trying to create a luxury vibe. That is ok for a one off but if you are in the hotel all week the prices just seemed a little over the top especially when there are really nice restaurants in the area you can get good quality food and drinks for less. The hotel is really clean, the rooms are modern and a good size. Great area with enough going on around the hotel. It’s not far away from being a really really good hotel with a few tweaks. We both enjoyed our stay here and would stay here again.

Prior to visiting I’d seen mixed reviews about the hotel so was a little worried about visiting due to it not being cheap and was worried we would be let down. Firstly a lot of the reviews go on to the actual hotel review site so check this for more recent ones! We enjoyed our weeks stay and I can say the breakfast selection was one of the best we’ve had in a hotel! So much choice, high end beautiful location and quality with a menu for hot options and staff friendly. This was really our favourite part! The hotel style is gorgeous and the rooms a brilliant size. We had a few drinks on the terrace and this is such a stunning setting and yes the drinks are expensive but most hotels and places are in Ibiza. The staff are very friendly in all areas. Sunbeds are also plenty as long as you hit the pool before 11am, after that you may struggle. There’s a soft play and crèche for children too. The pool options between Hyde and Mondrian is a benefit because it gives you more choice. Cala llonga itself is lovely - small but pretty with a few restaurants to try and Santa Eulalia only 10/15 mins by taxi. Having the beach so close is also great to mix things up and there’s a local shop which we got water etc from although you do have daily water in the room. We had no issues with the cleanliness of the room and it was always spotless however we did have issues with the aircon and had maintenance out a few times as it never really felt like it was working properly. There is no denying the hotel is old, the air con throughout is poor.. normally when you walk into a hotel it hits you but this is the opposite and in the evenings felt cooler outside than in the hotel bar/lobby. There is also a clear sewage issue as there is a constant smell in all the toilets throughout the hotel which is a shame in such a lovely hotel. The lifts are also very small and slow so we used the stairs for the majority of times as it did feel like you were changing getting stuck. We ate in the restaurant for the Niko special one evening which was nice but just nice. For over €200 I’d of expected better. We are vegetarian and told them this in advance so really expected more as it felt like they’d just thrown together a bit of veg minus the protein for us which was disappointing considering how much we paid. Overall if they sort out the teething issues it could be a great hotel. It’s expensive yes but enjoyable and in a lovely area of Ibiza.

Had a really lovely stay at this beautiful hotel. We had two rooms , panoramic seaview and one bedroom suite and both were really nice. The staff are so helpful and looked after us all really well. Big thanks to Paula Carzolgio who organised balloons for my daughter who arrived on her 15th birthday. There are plenty of beds around all of the pools and you can have the choice of quiet or dj's playing some cool tunes. We ate by the pool at the Bungalow restaurant and the food was delicious and the staff were great. The sun and moon bar serves lovely cocktails and the setting is so beautiful. Cala Llonga is a stunning place to stay. There are several great new restaurants recently opened beside the hotel or Ibiza town is only about 15 minutes in a cab. We are so sad to leave and will definitely be back again!!

After a glorious day at the beach we had a mooch around the Mondrian, beautiful smell as you walk in and furnished as you wld expect, very nice bar area . We sat in some relaxing cool lounge seats on the glass terrace with drinks

Visited with friends for drinks. Staff were clueless and terrace was filthy covered in red dust from a rain storm three nights ago. Sorry but in a 5 star hotel there is no excuse for not cleaning up. Was planning an event at the hotel but need to reconsider now.
