From start to finish this was a fantastic experience, the staff, accommodation and food were excellent and would recommend. We also had the pleasure of dealing with Wilma who made the booking process easy and nothing was ever too much for her. Thanks

Our trip to Zimbabwe was short but filled with beauty and made even better with our stay at Old Drift, the rooms were above our expectations and wonderfully set next to the river. The guides were incredibly knowledgeable and with out a doubt one of the best experiences we had on our trip was staying here

Old Drift lodge is perfect! If you are looking for an amazing Safari experience, look no further! First, the location is wonderful, on the Zambezi river in the National Park. The staff is very attentive and knowledgeable from check in to check out they are there to help you have the best experience possible. Vusa was our guide throughout the trip and we could not ask for better. He knows the park so well, he is able to find the animals and teach you about all things Zimbabwe. Amanda guided us through the check in process and helped plan each day to maximize our enjoyment. The food was wonderful and the ambiance romantic. This property is a gem and the people that work there are simply the best. I had always wanted to visit Africa and go on Safari, I never dreamed it could be so perfect. It was like Christmas morning every day!

Old Drift Lodge is perfect. The staff is warm and welcoming, the rooms are spacious and comfortable, and the outdoor shower incredible! The food prepared by Chef Gugu is top notch and they are very accommodating if you want something special. The location in the national park, and being close to Victoria Falls, is fantastic. It was great to have our morning game drive, then visit the Falls, then be back for a water tour! The lodge itself is airy and beautiful. I can't say enough about it! Highly recommend!

What a location and what a room! We had two separate rooms in a glorious tent. We had a spectacular bathroom inside and an outside shower and bath outside. They also had a dunking pool right outside your room which people have shared with elephants! Only monkeys and warthogs came to visit while we were there. The common area is all open and is situated on the river. It was beautiful eating outside and playing cards under the stars. The food was wonderful! We took a 1/2 day trip to see Victoria Falls which was spectacular. We loved both our game drives and our boat trips. Truly a magical spot!

If you want the most luxurious experience of your life, come to the Old Drift Lodge. I’ve stayed in 5 star hotels all my life and couldn’t be more impressed with the food, service and experience at Old Drift Lodge. I’d recommend anyone who loves adventure and luxury to come.

The position of the lodge on the Zambezi river is perfect. The layout of the lodge is great providing many viewing points on the river. The size of the lodge and the attentiveness of the staff make this a truly personal experience. Our family tent was amazing right on the banks of the river, was spacious and had everything you needed. The wow factor included with outside bath and shower and a small plunge pool. The staff were fantastic, and especially our guide Jeremiah. He was very knowledgeable, good company and certainly knew his way around the park and the river! None of the drives or cruises felt rushed or with a set agenda so made for a unique and relaxed experience. We were so lucky to experience a herd of elephants come up from the river outside our tent to eat and drink. Being so close was unbelievable and a memory we won’t forget! Along with the sounds of the hippos! The level of service and quality of food was 5* , all the staff were great (including our waiter Richmond). We loved the trip to Victoria falls as well - with so many viewing spots and a great breakfast afterwards. So massive thanks to all the staff at the lodge and we’ve recommended it to lots of people already!

This lodge doesn't need another 5* review, but I can't help giving it! It exceeded our every expectation! Luxury, amenities, staff, dining, Safaris, River Cruise Sundowners all unprecedented! This is travel at it's very finest!
